Holy cr@p!

DC Direct, I mean Collectibles, you guys are really stepping up your game.

I've always appreciated your sculpts and paint, but you have usually been too pricey and badly articulated to take seriously.

I've have very few of your figures from the last 15 years.

But your prices are now in line with the rest of the industry, and you are actually articulating your toys for the modern world (and to be honest, my tastes)

Holy mother! I want a LOT of these.

Nu52 Batgirl - bought

Nu52 Supergirl - bought

Animated Batman!!???! Holy crap that looks amazballs! - bought!

Animated Catwoman! - bought

Son of Batman Robin - look unarticulated but is just so cool-looking - bought

DC Designers Capullo Catwoman - bought

DC Designers Capullo Mr Freeze - bought

DC Designers Capullo Red Hood - bought

DC Designers Batman Thrasher armor - Totally bought!

You are gonna become one of my fave toylines.

Stuff looks good. Don't know how much I can afford or will have room for.

The most interesting for me is the Batman TAS stuff. Particularly the Catwoman (I would have preferred the original TAS Batman look with the yellow oval bat symbol). My fiance loves TAS as much as I do so I may be able to get away with getting these.

I really want a GOOD Supergirl figure....I don't think any that are available from Mattel or DCD are the best they can be. This one looks good but, of course, it's the New 52 look...

Batgirl looks amazing but I'm good on her.

Nightwing is a maybe.

But yeah, good looking toys on the way.

I'm loving the TAS line! I think I may be all in on them. As for the 1992 yellow oval, I'm pretty sure we'll get him down the line. Heck they could do numerous bat variants for this line.

The anti Fire suit from Torch Song,

A NBA with attachments for the bat glider,

the shirtless variant from the 2nd part of Demon's Quest,

the Mask of the Phantasm/Robin's Reckoning batsuit.

A 1992 styled variant with removable gas mask and unmasked wayne head.

Y'know, I'll just be happy to get that Batman and Catwoman, but I couldn't help but think who else we might get* in animated style if they sell well.

But sure enough, DCC will want to put out a few more Batmans too, and this is a good list of how to go about that.

*I'd love to see an animated Mr. Freeze

U.S.A. Today posted more info about DC Collectiables Batman Animated figures, including interviews with Bruce Timm on his take on it:

Oh, and StrangePlanet, you got your wish, in that The New Batman Adventures style Mr. Freeze is going to be in the 1st wave of the line(Unless you wanted The Animated Series style verison). The average price will be around $25 each U.S.(Of course, this will vary depending on your Comic Book store).
