Why is it?

There's such a big uproar over the Soda Stream ad? Just because they mention Coke and Pepsi? Yet no one complained about all of the Pepsi ads that had the "people" that work for Coke drinking Pepsi. Nor was there any when Burger King did theirs with the voice over telling you how much better their stuff is over McDonald's.

There is more than meets the eye here, I believe that their are political overtones involved because Sodastream is an Isreali company. That is what got this started when one of the groups that Scarlett Johansson previously raised a stink because of the company's ties to Isreal. She has since withdrew her support for the protest group. The Coke-Pepsi excuse was floated so that Fox and the NFL could save face without directly getting involved with the political fallout. That's all I can say without getting into a more politicized discussion.
