How do you want the line to go out?

When the line finally ends, what do you want to be the last thing to be??

Me personally I would love it if they ended it with Snake Mountain. For me even knowing that the price tag would probably be more than Grayskull, I would still love to have it as part of the collection. I think it would be a fitting thing to end with too, but hey that's just me.

If all the vintage MotU were done, and maybe even PoP, as well as enough New Adventures (pretty much done once NA Skeletor hits) and Filmation stuff to feel like we have a good representation....

If all that were done, I think a "Son of He-Man vs Skeleteen" two-pack would be a fun way for the line to complete. Sort of a "The Adventure Continues/The Saga Goes On!" sort of ending. Don't even care that much about the figures...it's the principle of the thing.

Snake Mountain would be awesome, but I don't see it happening.

Now if by some miracle the line makes it to 2016 and still gets enough subs to keep going...I have no idea, as by that point I'd say the sky's pretty much the limit in terms of wacky character selection.I suppose we'd start getting a LOT of Filmation, New Adventures, and "Concept" stuff.

I like that notion of a Son of He-Man vs. Skeleteen 2-pack.

I really wish that there was a shred of creativity in the MOTU teams (both toy-wise and fiction-wise) because it would be cool to get new characters after the vintage line is complete. Not monthly and sub-based, but once in a while, pre-order or DOS based.

Draego-Man is still easily one of my favourite MOTUC figures, and given the vastness of the MOTU property/universe/mythos, there's a lot of room for potential new/original awesomeness.

Sadly, when you let the powers that be take the helm, you end up with Cy-Chop, Spector, Laserlot, and even Castle Grayskullman (whom I enjoy a lot, but mainly in a kitschy way).

So I'll be content to see the line die after 2015 and feel that refreshing sensation that I will never again give Matty my money.

skeleteen always felt like a joke to me, like one of the writers couldnt think of anything and just said, "hey, how bout skeleteen - son of skeletor?!"

Well, since it's now canon that pretty much everyone operates under a handle, Skeleteen is no more ridiculous than Ram-Man, Stinkor, or any other product of Man-based or Or-based nomenclature.

I'm sure the son of Skeletor *has* an actual name, but folks probably just jokingly called him Skeleteen as a nickname, and it stuck.

[First Meeting with Evil Warriors Remnant]

<Keldor Jr.> Heed me, Evil Warriors! Today, I have come to take back Snake Mountain! Tomorrow, all of Eternia!

<Jitsu> And who might you be to make such bold claims?

<Keldor Jr.> It is I, Skeletor! Overlord of Evil!

<Beast Man> *Snort* Skeletor, huh? Looks more like a Skeleteen to me.

*hahahahaha*

<Skeleteen> Goddamnit...

At this point, mommy-dearest Evil-Lyn comes in, establishes dominance at Snake Mountain, and becomes the force behind Skeleteen's throne. Evil Warriors bow and pay homage, hailing "Lord Skeletor" in the throne room, but still refer to him as Skeleteen in the field.
