Now, while I do occasionally talk comics to them, I've never given them my opinions on any of the TV shows, so I know this is coming straight from them and not parroting anything I tell them.

I just got a kick out of that.

Not surprising the show goes over well with elementary school kids. So far, from what I've seen, this season plays like a bad episode of Teen Titans Go.

Seriously!?! Another Laurel? How messed up is it that outside of those few times Gregg and company perved out to having her shot, stabbed, beat-up, tied-up or kidnapped, Laurel has had more to do AFTER they killed her off than she did in the almost four years she was a series regular/female lead on Arrow?

Then again, if it weren't for Katie's surprise visit, I probably wouldn't have made it through this episode. ("Thinking Caps?" REALLY!?!)

Well played, Gregg, well played.

Don't you love it when they come up with a hook for an episode, but that's all they have, so they end up tacking on whatever nonsense they can come up with to fill in the rest of the 42 minutes?

"Barry! How could you use the cure on the giant man-eating shark-man, thus stopping him from biting me in half, without asking the monster's permissions!?!"

And then they have Barry APOLOGIZE! What the literal F--K!?!

The whole thing was like a news article I read once where a woman sued a guy for giving her CPR when her heart stopped!

Its just like I feared. You can only veer so far to the left before you have no idea where you at anymore.

Come on guys, try putting away the manifesto and writing an episode for once.

I only caught the lat half hour.  Good Grood/Shark fight, the CGI looked really good for a network TV show.  This is what comic fans tune in for, right?  I thought it delivered.

Absolutely! Like I said, you have a great hook, it's just the stuff running up to the Grodd/King Shark fight that fell short. The fight itself was awesome, especially considering how the CGI on Grodd kinda dipped in quality in some of his follow up early appearances on the show..

Hard to believe when this series was first announced people were worried Barry wouldn't wear a costume. If we knew then...

I'm not the only one who sees his costume appears to have gaps/openings not really rips but it looks very odd
