I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict that we'll get a Wave 3 of Age of Ultron toys in late summer/Early fall/DVD Release Window that will probably be:

 

AoU Hawkeye

Thor (Repaint of old mold)

Ultron

Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch Swap (Or possibly Vision/Quicksilver swap)

Vision

Hulkbuster BAF (Reusing as much of the Iron Monger/Mandroid as possible)

 

For Black Widow, she'll either be released as an exclusive or Hasbro will basically just take the "You got the WInter Soldier version, that's good enough" approach.

That's fine with me because I've got the Winter Soldier version and that's good enough.

 

Also, it's kind of interesting that many of the core team's costumes have been done in such a way that they're really not "new" costumes so much as they are recolored costumes. Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk all appear to be the old suits recolored. That makes it pretty easy for the toy company to make new figures without spending a lot. Coincidence?

Capt. Marvel actually comes with King Thor head and weapon BAF parts.Whereas Scarlett Witch comes with Odin head and weapon BAF parts.

I know, I don't need any King Thor parts though. I just want Odin. However Capt. Marvel does look pretty neat on her own so I may end up getting her.

 

That same day I also hopped over to TRU.com and grabbed Iron Fist and Hawkeye so now, except for the Thor piece, I've got Odin completed without having to pay shipping.

 

If anyone is interested in Hawkeye, Iron Fist, or Sentry loose, I'll probably be selling them off at a reasonable cost unless I get them in hand and something unforeseen about them completely blows my mind...

Mine too man. Mine too. I mean, I got the Mark 42 from the 6" Iron Man 3 line, as I liked how uniquely it was more Gold than Red(I know most people said they didn't like that though). I got the design at least, so I may end up skipping the Mark 43. But that alternate head is kind of making it difficult. Course, if they had made it a full unhelment head instead of a faceplace exposed head, then I would defently be in trouble and it would really be difficult to pass on it.

 

Having said that, my younger brother might be interested in the Mark 43 to get the Robert Downey Jr. head.

 

I am wondering what the Marvel Select version of the Mark 43 is going to look like, and if there are any Store Exclusive verions(Such as Disney Store), what the differences will be.

 

Guess we're all going to have to wait for Toy Fair, which starts around Valentine's Day. Luckily, it's almost a week away.

My Scarlet Witch arrived in the mail and you know what...I'm on the fence about keeping her! Seriously. Only reason is because she towers over my Quicksilver and Magneto figures. She's the tallest member of the Maximof clan. Beautiful figure, of course, but I may be able to live without it. We'll see. I'm not going to make any hasty decisions.

 

Regardless, just having the Odin head makes me excited for the rest of the figure. Can't wait to put him together.

Okay...I'm super excited about this film, but the top-billing factor, plus the contractual inclusion of actors of varying degrees of recognizability and prominence in this poster is downright hilarious. Let's see...Downey, Jr. has top-billing, so naturally he has to be prominently featured square and center, sans helmet of course, followed closely by Chris Evans, and poor ol' Hemsworth slightly further away from the camera in a close third-place, but y'know, Scarlett Johansson's gotta be in there, along with Sam Jackson...it's like he's just randomly stuck there in the thick of the action simply because his contract says he has to be. (lol) And of course we have the unknown newbies playing the Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver waaay back in the background, so much so you can barely tell who they are, because, hey...they're the new unknowns, right? Cut your teeth, young'ns, and maybe you can stand next to a gray-haired Downey, Jr. in part twelve of the series. (lol)

 

Seriously, the character/actor placement in this poster is comically absurd. It's so obvious it's just funny and disturbingly commercial. But what do you expect from a Disney juggernaut-of-a-blockbuster franchise entry? I'll still go see it (and probably love it), but c'mon...

That poster is comically bad, it's like they gathered all the actors and when they posed for the group shot the studio said: "No need for a group picture, guys. We'll take a picture a picture of each of you and then photoshop them together for the final poster; come on Disney you have deep pockets you can spring for a better quality poster. Plus just because I'm in a nitpicking mood, after four movies everyone knows RDJ is Iron Man no need for the helmet less picture same goes with Chris Evans and by now everyone has seen promotional images of Vision no need to obscure him in the poster.
