I'm torn on this.. while it IS addicting seeing who you get.. it's a little repetitive and I wish some of the characters were actually worth something.. not in value.. but I don't know, I just don't feel any kind of attachment to any of the guys I get. I unlocked an Alley Viper and I was soo excited, but he's horrible and keeps dying, lol. Even after upgrading him, he just can't compete w/ the big boys.

Right now I have CC and Tomax & Xamot. I had the special SS for a while, but I wanted to give the twins a chance to level up. I forgot who I have on the Joe side as I haven't played them in awhile, DOH!

If anyone is playong this and has an ally in the simulation. You have to accept their points. They dont automatically get added to your points. To do so, while in a simulation mission, the part that looks like your guy is standing on a board game and moving the spaces. There is a button on the lower right that says EVENT. Click this button and you'll see your ally and how many points they have for you. You then have to click accept. And then more should appear... and you accept those and depending how long you've been allies, you keep going tillbit says 0 points.I got over 150, 000 points this way and got enough for Quick Kick

I started this last night just to check it out.. and I don't know why, but I am hooked.

I can't explain it because I think the game is pretty dumb. I mean there is no strategy involved whatsoever... but I keep playing

Same here... lol... when they open trading up... my friend is screwed. I was originally going to give him all my rares cause I thought the game was boring. But I keep coming back and when I get a new guy... I'm all... YES!!! lol

I really don't like the destro thing right now though. I have 3 Gung Hos and 2 Dustys on my squad. Just doesnt seem fun that way

it took me forever to get a Dusty! and why does he come with a wolf instead of a coyote? Sandstorm was a coyote.

I got like 5 of those GvC Gunghos right away, then I promoted him to Battle Corps Gungho. lol

I don't know how I am seeing other people with multiple elites at low levels.

I also remember hearing about getting rare cards by entering codes, but I can't figure that out

Before the game came out, you could "pre-order" it through the site and they'd send you a code, in the main menu, I believe you click "other" or something like that and there is a place to enter codes. Also the whole enter your friends code and you get stormshadow thing. I have one, I went up against a guy that was CobraCommander and 4 Stormshadows, lol

I entered both of your codes, I think I did it right.

I got an ally request from you.. but the ones that get you the rare card gifts are when you invite a NEW player to the game.

every player is able to enter an invite code ONE time.. the new player gets the rare Storm Shadow card and some other goodies, the player who invited them also gets the Stormy card.

BTW.. this game is bumming me out how I am constantly running out of stamina points.. so I get to play basically a couple times a day, for about 15 minutes each time... and when I was trying to fight the Destro event, I was only able to attack once every couple of hours because of the amo needed..

I get they are trying to get you to buy tokens so that you can keep playing more.. but nickle and diming you to death isn't the way. I aint paying to play it lol... even if you spent 10 bucks on tokens, those would all be used up in about an hour or less.

yeah, I'm not paying for anything either.. the trick with the Destro thing was to open all the battles you got asked for, then fight a regular battle(one ammo worth) on one that was about to end, then another, then another, lol.. and then get more ammo in rewards for winning those. The thing you had to look out for was jumping in a battle with 2 mins left and then it's a waste. I wasted a good numbers of ammos that way.. :(

This new event is kind of cool, but I agree, the waiting to play is kinda tiresome and I'm sure a lot of people will drop out because of it. I can already see the top 5 people in my event right now are unloading some money just to stay up there as I play it a lot and have about 7,000 group points or whatever they call it and I'm in 7th place and the person above me has like 20,000 pts and it just skyrockets from there, so they have to be paying for ammo and stuff to keep battling, which to me is just silly.

I did get an epic rare duke though, I upgraded my pansy duke with him and now I have a 3 star jet pack duke.. WHOO HOO! I need another Lady Jaye so I can upgrade her too... my level 70 one gets taken out in 2 hits and she has a cool healing ability.

I gotcha.. that's silly. I just went up against a guy with one Cobra Commander and 4 Stupid "rare" Storm Shadows... I still beat him.

the fact that it's a "rare" stormy doesn't matter if they are all low levels. most likely that guy was trying to level up his stormys so that he could combine them into one good one later.

I made the mistake of Promoting my Gunhoes without leveling them up.. I didn't know how the system worked yet.

if you level your card up to the top level, let's say 70.. then the new card will inherit 10% of those high-level stats, which is a pretty good bump in stats. if you do not level up the card, then the new card will only get 5% of the low-level stats, which is nothing at all.

I like the new event too.. you just have to know how to choose your oponents. and when you run into somebody that is buying cards and amo, you can't really win lol
