Intersting..., it looks like all the figures in this wave come with a base, at least based on the Dog Tag base that Desert Duke figure came with from the Rise Of Cobra line.

 

Before, I was probably only thinking of getting half this wave of figures, but now seeing the pics and seeing some slight changes(Like Cobra Commander having a shiny faceplate) or additional pack ins(Like Storm Shadow having a unmasked head), I think I may get almost all of them, except for Ultimate Firefly(The Retaliation 3 Pack Firefly to me is Ultimate enough for me. I also got the Wave 2 Firefly for the unmasked head and to use as a Python Patrol verison of the character).

 

That said, surprise that Ultimate Flint doesn't come with a beret, reguardless if he actually wears one in the movie or not. That said, if I get Ultimate Flint, I may consider using it more as a articulated body for the Night Fox figure from the Retaliation Combat Cruiser after I swap the head from the under-articulated body. Really like the Night Force vibe I'm getting from the deco of the Ultimate Flint body.

Great to see packaged pics. Most of them seem to have turned out well. I'm glad that SS now has the unmasked head. I might end up getting second one.

As a collector and pretty knowledgeable Joe fan,i l love them all.But which ones do you think will be least appealing to the younger consumer?I was diggin the Budo figure until i got a closer look at his face.The goatee looks a little off .I'll probably snag up a Snake Eyes first (force of habit) .

I have to say Cobra Commander might actually be the least interesting for younger audiences. They'll probably look at him and think "He looks nothing like that in the move" and pass. Which is fine. More for me
