Amazon was unusually slow with my batman stuff. A week and a half for the two pack, a week for penguin and still waiting for riddler. I love it all(penguin especially) and really hope this line sells like gang busters so it doesn't drop dead like has been said.

I was all on board with this line but after the way they cheaped out on the Batmobile (Fifty bucks??? Does this come with a Happy Ending???) and in particular the Joker (How do you cheap out on this guy?) I'm passing. I hope it dies and they take an acid bath on this one.

I ordered Riddler and Penguin from amazon on Monday and had them by Thursday. Fastest I've ever gotten anything from them. As it looks though what's coming out is it according the latest ask Matty q&a. I'm really liking the figs but I was disappointed with the batmobile. It looks really good but for the price they should've had some opening doors, working lights or something.

I have to agree with you...the changes to the Joker and the poor execution of the Batmobile really diminished my desire to collect the line.

Oh, that poor Joker! From what was initially shown to that lousy mess that looks like it was cobbled together by third worlders in South America! That thing should be packaged with a cheaply repainted "Spider-Hombre," some indistinguishable wrestling figure, and a Power Ranger knock-off. Slap a "Super-Amigos" label on the generic packaging and sell it at a kiosk at the mall or at a flea market for five pesos!

It almost seems like they lost the likeness rights to Caesar Romero.

Is it a for sure fact that the Joker has been changed from what was originally shown??

I've only seen the pictures on line...nothing in person.

Entertainment earth.com just got there wave 2 cases with the joker and surfing batman so hopefully we will see pictures soon of the joker figure soon. I didn't order any figures except the 2pack from Amazon.com. I really hoping the likeness is the first version because that version looks more like Cesar Romero and the articulation looks better. Here's hoping.

I keep googling, looking for pics of Joker packaged, hoping that the sad new picture was an old mock-up first draft before the new sculpt was tooled. I think it makes sense that the awful picture might have been older. All the comic con photos are of the new Joker mold, so that must mean something right?

It really wouldn't make sense to tool a whole new mold and not use it.

Desperately holding out hope!

That first Joker model most likely never made it to the mold stage. It's most likely a well-lighted "one off" made by the Mattel sculptors for initial proposals and publicity shots. Then the Mattel bean counters most likely did some math and said, "We gotta cut back on these. Why make a whole new mold for a whole new Joker body when we got one lying around already?"

Throw that hope away. That second pic is very, very likely what we're getting.

Just got my order from amazon today...very excited!!! Like a kid on Christmas!!!.....and even better I got an email from BBTS that joker and Surfs Up Batman has arrived and is being prepped for shipment.....earlie than I expected for them.....so the wait for Catwoman begins.....I'm gonna hold out hope for the joker until he arrives.....even though it's not as perfect as the first mold, I'm not that disgusted with the other mold surfing around

I'm still thinking the same thing, but I guess time will tell.

Looks like the Joker will be the new sculpt shown at the conventions. Here's a link to wave 2 on eBay. It's a small pic but I noticed the pointing finger on joker that was in the original sculpt.

whew! that's a relief! all is well and this line is great!

I think ur right but the pic is really small.
