The only thing I really don't like about this is that it's going to be on Disney XD. I don't subscribe to it and won't just to watch a couple shows.

how will more than 50% of the SW fanbase take to a show that (potentially) doesnt have lightsabers igniting every 2 seconds?

sigh...I bet this thing is littered with Jedi that escaped the purge

Ugh..."rebellious teens". I have a bad feeling about this...

Regardless of the adjective, the fact remains they're gearing-up a new Disney Star Wars show geared towards teens, and the ink on George Lucas's check has hardly dried. *groan* No thanks...

"Star Wars Rebels" will be produced by Lucasfilm Animation, featuring many of the key talents that made "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." It is scheduled to premiere in fall 2014 as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel, and will be followed by a series on Disney XD

I'll wait till it hits the internet I'm not watching some stupid show to catch a sneak peak that will last a mere few seconds

Yeah, I warmed-up to the Clone Wars show too, so maybe I should give Rebels a chance also. I'm sure it will be good...I'm just always hesitant when "edgy" teen characters are represented as the main protagonists in any show or production. I'll give it a chance though.
