Mandroid Armor with Agent Sharon Carter (Movie Style)

This project has ALWAYS been on my mind since I saw the two Avengers line Stark Tech Assault Armors on the shelves...Unfortunately, they weren't that impressive enough to me to make me want to shell out what they were asking for at retail. Fast forward a year or so later, I catch it on clearance from an outlet store, and here we have the result. The toy always seemed to me, like it was some sort of Avengers Movie version of the classic Mandroid armor system. Out of the two (Iron Man or Cap) I used the Captain America version of the armor as the Iron Man is used in my collection display as the Hulkbuster Armor. In addition to the crazy amount of paint apps on this, I modded the chest using an armor chest piece from an unknown toy. I also added the bandolier for the figure's shoulder cannon, and added many decals from various GI Joe decal sheets. The armor fits my Agent Sharon Carter custom on the inside.

amazing work, i really like the paint work on the gray suit. heck all of it. i havent been able to get my figures to the point they are fully mobile. you got some friggn skills!!

Very cool and love the pilot too. Did you add stickers or were those already from the original? I kept seeing these and kept passing because I don't like the hole in the middle, I like what you did. I may have to pick one up now and tinker around with it.

All the decals are from GI Joe vehicle decal sheets. They just seemed to fit on this. Yeah, I passed on them, too because they just weren't that impressive, at a glance (crappy Cap and Iron Man figures included with them, really plain paint jobs....meh). They were a bit overpriced, too, IMO. It was a fun project, and it kind of shocked me how a decent paint job on it really brought out the details of the mold. Thanks!
