The Dark Knight Rises, Movie Masters....sooner than we thought?

As many of you know, there are 2 verisons of the 6 Movie Masters Catwoman, as 1 is packaged Goggles Up, and the other Goggles Down. From reviews I've either seen and read, the goggles on both verisons do move, however I should note that Goggles Up can go fully up and down to look like Cat Ears when it's up but the Goggles look backwards when on face(Esepically with lights facing her face). Meanwhile the Goggles Down verison only goes up to the forhead/hairline area, but looks proper when goggles are on face because the lights are facing outwards. For Goggles Down, it does actually look proper like how the Goggles would look when it goes up or down on her head. Here below are the 2 Youtube reviews that compares the 2 Movie Masters Catwoman, as they show you the Goggles Up and Down verisons, and point out the features, along with the 2nd video pointing out that the reviewer snapped off the neck joint on 1 of them(Ouch):

I mean...you'd think such a simple feature wouldn't require so much explaining. They just had to make it hard, I guess...

Just cleariflying YoJoeBro82, are you saying I'm explaining too much for something so simple, or commenting on Mattel making it difficult for people to know the differences between the 2? Not trying to start anything, just want a clearfication is all.

That said, makes you wish they just did swappable heads. Or, since the 6" Movie Masters are suppose to be a "Adult Collector" action figure line, which all have "Deluxe articulation", "Supreme quality", and offers "Premium collecting experience", and all those key Buzz Collector words that makes you think you are buying a $300 Hot Toys item(Seriously, read the back packaging of the Movie Masters The Dark Knight Rises figures), you'd think all Mattel had to do was add 1 more hindge on the front part of Catwoman's goggles, so that you can flip/spin them around for Cat Ears when Up, and flip/spin for proper looking Goggles with lights facing outwards when down. But maybe I'm expecting too much from a line that's suppose to be "Expertly crafted to ensure the highest standards for your collection".

In all seriousness, since this line does use Ball-Jointed Heads, makes we hope that if they ever do re-release Movie Masters Catwoman(Either in Multi-pack, or even packaged with the Movie Masters Batpod), that Mattel includes swappable heads so that you can have proper Goggles Up head and proper Goggles Down head.

No, I mean Mattel just found a way to make a simple action feature very difficult. How hard is it to make them movie up and down? Either one is needlessly glued into place, or another won't go up all the way. I mean, if they want to display them in the box a different way, fine.....

Well, like I said in another post, I got the goggles up version, took a needle nose pliers and gently pulled them out. Now I can have them up or down. Problem solved.

I found me a John Blake figure. Only complaint is that he's completely unarmed. A police officer needs a gun (he's also missing a police utility belt) luckily I have a spare Marvel Legends pistol so that's another problem solved. I keep thinking I just need Ra's to complete my batsignal but I always forget that I haven't bought that Batman yet. Maybe when he goes on clearance. Anyone have Batman's signal part that they don't want???

They're still incorrect if you have them down. The lenses are supposed to be flipped around when she has them down. That's why A_Spidey_Fan says they needed another hinge. That's cool if you're fine with them like that, but it's why I haven't tried unglueing them.

Im constantly taking ML guns for DCUC figures...we shouldn't have to do that...right, Mattel?

I had a bad dream that Mattel released another dread youtube video with a Suit in a quirky t-shirt made up to say, "Hey look guys, I'm one of you!" In it, Suit, with a heavy heart, told us that there wasn't enough "retailer support" to get Ra's (and thereby our final batsignal piece)onto the retail shelves. But not to fear, because Mattel was still going to make him available as an online exclusive--double the cost plus shipping of course--to anyone who still wants to complete their batsignal. But unfortunately, that was the only* way to get fans their Ra's in this "new economy".

(*Besides, you know, just packing him in with all the rest of the figures and not doing waves that each feature 5 Batmans and one new dude.)

Good thing I woke up from my dream and remembered that Mattel would never pull anything like that.

hard to believe that people want a figure that is almost 85% repurposed parts...and harder to believe that Mattel wants to make it that much more difficult to get their table scraps.

but, yes...I,too, weep for my ass-less Bat Signal...
