Things you hope to see in GI Joe Retaliation

1. Sgt. Slaughter cameo-doesn't need any more screen time than Stan Lee in the Marvel movies to be cool for me.

 

2. Duke survive-I like Duke more than other people hate Channing Tatum.

 

3. A Roadblock rhyme-just one

 

4. A solid story.

1. I too would like to see Duke survive, just out of sheer principle.

 

2. I enjoyed the technology of the first film, but I'd like to see a more down-to-earth, more realistic team this time.

 

3. More firefights and less lasers and/or vehicle chases.

 

4. I hope to see the team reinstated by the end of the film, and Joseph Colton become an active member.

 

5. Please...let me see General Hawk again! I loved Dennis Quaid as Hawk.

 

6. Lots and lots of Joe cameos, even if it's just background glimpses or walk-on scenes.

1. I'd love a mention of Tomax and Xamot and the Crimson Guard for a possible sequel!!!

 

2. Since they're loosing so many Joes at the beginning, a nice list of replacements, like Beachead, Recondo, Shipwreck, Mutt & Junkyard, etc!! Even if it's just the end, again for a sequel!!

 

3. Keep the team as a small covert best of the best squadron!!! Not this massive entity like last time!!

 

4. A mention of the Drednoks!! After all we are getting Zandar!!!!! 0_0 It's on imdb!!!

 

5. Make Roadblock a chef!!!

I don't want too much of Bruce Willis' character, not a fan of him

 

Cobra Commander to be decent, thoughtout megolmaniac who displays the skills as to why he is the commander.

 

Little to no reference outside of Zartan from the first movie

What do I want to see in Retaliation?

 

I wanna see Willis carry this turkey. I wanna see him make Dwayne sweat just trying to keep up. I wanna see something that makes his Die Hard, Armageddon, Sixth Sense, and Sin City turns look like warm ups. I wanna be taken back to a time when Brunno showed us he could be more than just that funny guy flirting with Cybil Shepherd.

 

While I'm at it, this is G.I. Joe, not Apocalypse Now. I want the sci-fi, the ninjas, the big rooms full of cool stuff. I want them to slap me upside the head with a movie that reminds me exactly why I shell out 10 bucks a pop to go see summer movies.

 

I'd also love to see a big climatic "money-shot" right at the end of the thing. Roadblock and company pinned down and out of ammo, the fight is over and they lost, then... BOOM. Duke comes rolling in with an army of Joes. Guys from the first movie, the toons, the comics everybody shows. #US1# The kinda scene where three months after you buy the Blu-ray, your still pausing and zooming the shot to pick up on guys you missed.

 

I may be the only fan of ROC in existence, they owe me that much.

 

I'd also love to get a surprise in the (oh so nice) form of Rachel Nichols, Karolina Kurkova, and Sienna Miller.

 

How much of that I get is anybody's guess.

 

No mako, you're not the only ROC fan. It wasn't the total loss everyone makes it out to be. I'll tell ya though...your "money-shot" idea and longing for the '80s bad-@$$ Bruce Willis we all know and love (except for Superpowers) (lol) has me pumped for Retalliation quite a bit, moreso than I've been so far. Your idea for an ending reminds me of the end of Star Trek where Spock's about to buy it and here comes the Enterprise out of warp speed with guns blazing...I too would love to see a squadron of Joes show up like that and just wipe out the Cobras.

I also like ROC I even own the blu-ray so you're not alone, as to what I want for the new one Ninja fights lots and lots of ninja fights I can't stress how much I miss ninja fights in my action movies.
