Has anyone else who Pre-Ordered Wave 2 from BBTS hear anything about a possible shipping time for the figures? Just wondering.

I sent a email to them bout this and they stated they don't know when they will be fulfilling orders. So like wave 1 I will probably find them in stores before I get them from BBTS

I wasn't so sure at first but, with my transition to ordering most of my figures online I am not a fan of variants. Sure having one or two in a set is fine but when more then half of the figures have them it's a hassle.

If I had a better time finding the figures in my area I wouldn't care but since it isn't the case it can be a let down. Gas costs too much for me to drive store to store like I did in previous years.

 

Does anybody else feel this way?

 

Besides that I really love the feel of the figures and packaging.

 

I stopped hunting for figures years ago. The gamble isn't worth it to me. I prefer to order and get what I want instead having to search here and there and still not being able to complete a set.

 

As far as the variants go for Wave 2 I feel sorry for all you guys. I only need a few here and there when it comes to marvel legends but what they have done with this wave is unbelievable, all those variants is crazy and in some cases its a totally different person, not even a variantion of the character.

I agree with you Superpowers...if I happen to find stuff when I'm out, great. It's fun to stumble upon stuff, but I don't necessarily go hunting per-se. I'll go to a few stores to see what they have, but I won't go out of my way. I'll either pay a slight mark-up online to get what I want, or better yet, I'll buy figures by the case (when I can afford it that is) to ensure I get certain figures. Besides, I like getting some figures on mint cardbacks or in mint packaging, and buying by the case is the way to do that, although they can even come from the factory case warped, creased, or damaged.

That is exactly what I do. The problem I forsee with ML is that I only want certain characters whereas with DC I usually get everything. With the recent price hikes though I forsee major problems with my collecting habits....lol

Yeah I don't know anyone that has found those 2 at retail either. Its either a split case with Masque/Thunderball and FF Spidey/Unmasked Daken or a straight up variant case.

To be honest I'm ok with waiting awhile.

 

The only reason I really want to get them soon is to see what figures/variants I will have to pick-up at retail later.

Also I am so sick of the people on ebay selling Terrax pieces. It take a special kind of jerk to try to get the cost of the figure or more for the BAF piece. I wish these were more plentiful so that those sellers will choke on their pieces.

Actually, I am glad people are selling parts on EBay, so I don't have to buy an extra Drax, Fantamex, or Daken to complete my variant Skull Zola.

My friend picked up a Thunderball and Masque for me yesterday!! And my set with Piledriver and Hydra should be here end of the week. I can't wait!! All of wave 2 is almost mine. Well except BT Spider and masked Daken. I will wait for those to become more plentiful.

No doubt, piece stealers are the worse but come'on, some dude wants the exact price of the figure for the BAF part........also you have the jerks that sell the arms individually in two separate auctions..............wth, they come together and who in the universe would risk getting one arm and not the other. Bidders are so stupid, they drive the price of everything up. It also amazes me how much people want for certain figures 50 or more for Big Time Spidey, same deal with Thunderball,.......I can see making a buck or two but man these sellers are nuts considering they can't sell these items for that price and it costs to post on ebay so what is the point.

No, the arms come with different figures. I was able to pick up the extra arms and leg I needed for less than ten bucks each shipped, which is better than having an extra Drax and Fantomex lying around. I went ahead and bought the extra arm that comes with the Dark Wolverine because I have the unmasked version and am not sure if I will get the Masked version. I am just glad they didn't include a BAF piece with Spidey because the BT Spidey does nothing for me.

I was talking about Terrax, both arms come with GR, the Zola guy is the one that has the variants in the BAF, another terrible situation for collectors, bad enough its 12 figs in a wave then factor in the dupes needed to get the other version of Zola..............disgusting.

Toy biz was worse about it... I still can't get over finding extra crispy wolvie so I could have giant mans hand... And the modok wave... Every one had a variant cept beta ray bill, and only wasp and moon knight stayed as only alt costumes, not alt characters...

Oh yeah, I was all about Giant Man and it was a hassle getting him together. I still don't remember how I put that dang dude together, I don't remeber where I got all the pieces from but I have him. I too had to get those terrible Wolverines to build him, that I do remember. Also didn't the bearded Sentry have an essential piece too?

 

I wasn't into the Modok wave so I was spared...lol
