George Lucas to retire from blockbuster filmmaking

My only beef with him is he keeps changing these current movies instead of wanting to make episoedes 7,8 and 9.With those he can't be critisized because that would be uncharted territory.I don't care about fanfics from that era

 

Well, supposedly he has stated on occasion that there is no episode 7,8,9 the story ended in epsiode 6 ROTJ, but to be honest there has been so many urban legends regarding Star Wars that I don't know what's true anymore. Personally I rather he concentrated in the live action star wars series that would take place between ROTS and ANH since that was announced years ago and nothing yet. I was looking forward to that specially since it may feature Quinlan Vos.

 

I don't care what he has siad about that ..Back in 1983 he said he wanted to do 9 of them there could be a story of Luke as a Jedi Master and they could of gone from there

That would've been cool to see, but unfortunately it's too late now since it involves the original characters and I don't think the actors would return for the movies although other actors could be good. Who knows??

As bogus as complaining of changes in movies, or how much money George Lucas makes, really? The guy is far from perfect nor the changes in the movies are the most ideal but it gets tiresome every time there's news about George Lucas people come out complaining either how they hate the changes in the SW movies or how much money George Lucas is making off the movie. No one is forcing you to watch the movies much less paying for them If you don't like them or disagree about the way they're done simply don't watch them. You're well within your rights to boycott something if you don't like it.

went to the movies today, but had a hard time staying awake for The Phantom Menace...could be because i didnt sleep well the night before, or that Ive seen it too many times, or that they showed 30+ minutes of crappy cgi/3d trailers and an Ice Age toon before the movie, or because IT WAS THE PHANTOM MENACE.
