How could I make a custom staff for the DCD Munnk?

Said it all right there in the subject header. I got the Indigo Lantern Munnk today in the mail. (by the way....wow! he looked good in pictures, but his articulation surprised me and his sculpt is just beautiful) As anyone who's seen the pictures of Munnk, whether at a Con or in the DCD Solicits, knows that he's shown with a staff. And anyone else who followed up on the actual release found out that he didn't have a staff. First the No-Scythe-Nekron and now this? (I know, the two figures aren't comparable, but still it's a funny coincidence...and infuriating) Well I dabble in customs and was planning on making a staff. I already have a few ideas, but I wanna hear from you guys. What materials? What color? Anything! Thanks!
