Just got wave 20 and...

Where did you get that light blue Superman, is that a custom head?

Ebay and no,it's a probably the best superman head i have seen ,looks different from the current ones used.

when you did your search in ebay what did you put in the search bar? I've been lookin for that Superman but I always end up finding the same old superman.

 

light blue superman,this one actually came MOC from a seller called scottmetz442011 I sent him a M.O. cause he couldn't do paypal and I got this a hew days ago,I paid 1ike 28.00 shipped.

 

When you say carded, what card back did he have? It may be an upcoming figure if it was carded. I did an ebay search for that seller. It does not look like he has any thing up for sale right now. But Ill check back.

Check his completed listings, I asked him if he had more after his one sold and he said he had 4 left from hong Kong. It came on an All Star card.

I shot him an email, but if it came on an All Star card its probably comin down the pipeline anyway. You should post a pic of the all star card so we can see whats coming!!!!!!!!!!

Its not the newer cards its from the older waves He said he got them in hong kong last year.

When you have him in hand he's actually pretty cool with the lightning effects and all.

yeah but its more like the "white" lantern corps and wave 17 hal is white and silver and now they change it allready and i am not a fan of this. the proto was great and way better to put next to my hal jordan. yeah well i will see when i have him in hand i guess. thanks for the heads-up :-)

Thanks for all of the Wave 20 pics DC_Hoarder. I'm glad to hear you didn't have any defective limbs or paint stuck parts and such. Based on all of the pics I've seen from others as well as yours, the flesh tone on GA and RA looks too "plasticy" and waxy to me, WL Flash looks too dark grey, and they're all a little underwhelming in general, but I still want this group more than any other since Wave 16. Would have been so much more satisfying to have Wally West with his archenemy Professor Zoom instead of WL Flash, though. It's really too bad Mattel couldn't deliver the same production quality for all of DCUC that they did for Waves 9, 10 and 11. If you look at the figures from those waves, they have superior looking paint and plastic compared to others. They actually look like true, expensive collector figures... too often, the waxy crap look effects the others. All the other beautiful sculpts deserved better production values. Wave 16 seemed to have better looking plastics and paint applications, too, for the most part.

 

If you can, could you let me know if Hawk is shorter than most other figures, and does Sinestro have that good tilting double barbell neck articulation, or is it more limited like the Wave Three Sinestro figure?

 

And what is the origin of your custom Doomsday figure? It looks great!

Good head range on sinestro,hawks a little shorter than superman, Doomsday is as big as Despero and is a WIP>

Don't know didn't buy the wave 20 GL. Don't think so though. haven't seen any pics with it. My GL was the same one but it's the TRU exclusive.
