I think they materialized in Texas I think.It will be January before we will see these(well the Walamrts that are still carrying the Joes).I swear,north Alabama always gets the short end of the stick.I ended up ordering mine from Komoko Toys.My area is still getting wave 2.I may have to fly out to California just to find these. @grumpy@

Snagged Techno-Viper and Tunnel Rat today, passed on Rip-cord. That was all they had of that wave at that particular Wal-Mart. Also picked up Rock-Viper at K-mart. I'm in KY Just north of the Tn border. Good luck guys.

Must be nice.Were they on the pegs.The Walamrts that are still caryying Joes in my neck of the woods only have one row of pegs devoted to the Joes.

I found and got the stormtrooper and Death Star Trooper from this wave. The stormtrooper has a number of issues, including the name plate on the packaging featuring the word "Kenobi" in the shadow behind the character's name. It's basically the VOTC mold, using the redone stamp that started appearing with the 2006 Shadow Stormtrooper, but it's essentially the VOTC figure. The little gray circles on the front of the helmet are either very, very light or unpainted, making it look a little unfinished. The plastic also feels a little flimsy at times. It's nice to finally have a stormtrooper in this line (the first one since its inception in 2007, shockingly), but I prefer the TVC version quite a bit.

Got mine from BBTS today and I like the wave quite a bit. Some quick thoughts and stuff:

 

Yes Storm Shadow has his black sash included, Ripcord is a nice figure no matter what anyone says, I don't understand how Hasbro can give Tunnel Rat and Storm Shadow the amount of stuff they do and then turn around and give Scarlett just a gun and crossbow (or tell us figures like Data Viper don't cost out), and finally I don't get why all the Renegade figures come with "animated" weapons except for Tunnel Rat who comes with realistic weapons.

 

Now I just can't wait for wave 4.

Chad I found wave 3 at Phenix City WM. Gobs of them! So hopefully you will find them soon! I got Scarlet, Techno Viper, Tunnel Rat, and SS. Pretty solid wave. Even Ripcord looked pretty cool, just won't be Ripcord when I get him. @loll@

That's great Brian.Our Walmart are slammed right now with wave 2,gobs of them.Must be nice to find the stuff you want.I doubt the north Alabama Walmarts will ever see wave 3.

My mom informed me that she would not be getting me Joes for Christmas and reminded me of my age (an annual event). I just said "OK" and thought "Just buy them myself". Went to smalljoes and the preorders for both wave 3 and 4 were sold out. BBTS is just too expensive (over $10 per fig before shipping) Bummer. Guess I'll be looking in the stores. But those wave 2 Renegades clogging the pegs is not a good sign...

heads up for those living in the chicagoland area...JUST found WAVE 3 at Walmart in countryside, IL...scored 3 cobra troopers (renegades) and 2 techno-vipers!!!
