I think I saw a 51 in Samsung at Walmart for $500 and I've seen 160 GB PS3's at Target for $250 with a $50 gift card.

best buy has a 60 inch for 800, kmart has a 65 for 1000, most places have a ps3 and 2 games for 200. im also eyeing big bang theory season 4 on blu ray for $9 at best buy for a doorbuster.

lots of good deals if you are looking for a tv or video game system though

I'm getting Skylanders Wii for my kids, so it looks like I'll be braving crowds at WM that night/morning.

the TRU black friday ad had great deals on Skylanders.

Yeah, I might head over there after and get a couple of the figurine packs. The whole kaboodle is from Santa.

  • 2 weeks later...

Despite my griping,I'm thinking of hitting Gamestop and getting a used Wii for $79.

DUDE! you should have went to Target.

I just got the black WII bundle with Super Mario bros (which still costs 50) + the brand new Zelda game for a grand total of 129.99!!!

that's a NEW black Wii plus 2 games for only 50 bucks more.

Walmart's doorbuster WII deal is the blue WII for 100 bucks, but it doesn't come with any games.

Clam. Was that a one day thing??

I would go out, but with major purchases, I try to make sure it's a good brand, with all the bells and whistles!! Besides that, I'm a mover, like to move around, the less big stuff I own, the better!!!

Pretty big bust for me. I was at WM well before 10 and all the DVD's/Blu Ray's were already picked over. I missed the one thing i really wanted Big Bang Theory S4. I stopped at 4 more WM's on the way home and all of them had released the stuff early too. They just would not let people check out till 10 with it.

Online is the way to go this year. Most of the deals available at the brick and mortar stores are also available online. I'm telling you, Amazon is the way to go for those video game deals. All of them are the same as the stores, and they have free shipping in most cases.
