Does anyone else have the same problem I have with companies not having enough product available at release date? The Legion of Super Hero figure set sold out on Matty Collector in 3 hours on 10/17/2011, it sold for $180.00 and everyone had the option to buy a max of 10 box sets of 12. Now every scalper on the web jumped on it and there sold out. Get this those less than scrupulous characters that bought multiple sets are selling them for a minimum of $359.00 What the heck is up with Mattel???

I dont see ANY DCU in any of my 3 Wal-Marts or 1 Target in my area...i dont have a TRU here either so i have to rely on friends and family!

Yeah I hear ya Bats, we as collectors need to get heard regarding this issue any ideas?

One of the Walmart's in my area has the figures but it is the wave with Powergirl.I did spot wave 17 in an a Super Target today though

I see some wave 16's, GLC wave 1 and my Target has Dr. Impossible and Cyborg!!! That is about it.

Distribution has always been an issue with Mattel action figure lines. They always blame the retailers, but other companies don't have these problems, so it's hard to believe it's just coincidence you can never find a Mattel line at retail.

 

DCUC has lasted a long time, but I wonder how successful it would have been had Mattel found a way to get each wave to multiple retailers.
