It starts off with a mini-series which mainly focuses on SGT Slaughter, a new character called Sneak-Peek and Python Patrol and Tiger Force. This is where we learn the fate of Cobra Commander and Serpentor. It's not as good as the previous mini-series but it's not terrible. After that though it kinda goes downhill. I have not seen all the episodes but the ones I did see where not great.

Accaully the guys name was Scoop.For what I remember his parents home gets destroyed and they get injured.Scoop blames GI Joe and joins Cobra who has him infiltrate the Joe team.Then he learn how good the Joes are and how bad Cobra is.Kinda predictable in my opinion.

I can't wait for this. The Sunbow material was classic and is a huge part of the Joe ARAH brand holding up so well through the years. Dic's Joe cartoons are kind of "so bad it's good". Yes, the animation was crappy and a lot of the characters were terrible but it was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to Operation: Dragonfire, "I Found You Evie" was pretty cool if I remember correctly... And who can forget the two-parter where Cobra goes to Alcatraz and the Commander sings "Someone's in the kit-chen with Cobraaaaaa"?

I'll be picking this up........I don't really remember much from this series. I'm kinda excited to see what its about......I've seen some stuff on youtube....but other than that nothing much else. From a completist standpoint I need it for the collection. "Got to get tough!! YO JOE!!!

Thank you again, Shout Factory! DIC G.I. Joe gets a bad rap but I kinda enjoyed it. It still had my favorite character in Cobra Commander and I liked his costumes in this later series with the battle armor and the longer hood with the uniform with the yellow trim.

 

Also THE HEADMAN and the drug episodes!!1! The Headman is the Count Marzo of G.I. Joe.

I have never seen this version of G.I.Joe because I was busy being G.I.Joe at this time of my life!

 

I might like to see it more if I didn't hear about how awful it is all the time.

The eps are pretty bad, though I do like the mini series with the Headman - I like it just because of how stupid the ep is despite being a drug special ep; I also love how they made the Headman looking like some sort of pimp
