In this thread I will be posting about fights of characters-- from any comic strip or comic book company, that I would like to see... I will also be asking which character would beat or kill the other? and why?

 

Everyone is welcome to post whichever comic book/strip characters, that they would like to see fight. You could even pit Dennis the Menace Vs. Popeye if you would like, and its all valid...

 

Instead of me just making a thread-- anytime that I choose to "VS" two characters, I will instead post the character VS in here.

 

 

 

Here's the first beef.

 

Jason Todd Vs. Frank Castle

 

Who do you believe to be the most skillful (in general), and the most dangerous out of the two? and why?

 

Who do you think would win between these two, in a battle to the death? and why?

 

Please only base your outcomes, on what has been written about these characters in the comics.

Jason can hold his own against Batman...and that's something the Punisher could never do.

Out of all these posts only one saw fit to actually answer the question.............that is most of TNI for you.

 

I agree with feats, if Jason can give Batman a serious run for his money then ol' Frankie Castle would eventually fall.

As I said before, I don't know anything about Jason Todd, but Frank Castle isn't just a man anymore. He's a force of nature with a body count in the thousands. He has his military experience and all of his experience in urban warfare.

 

When it's mentioned that Jason Todd gives Batman a run for his money, then we can say Frank Castle has defeated Daredevil, Wolverine, Spider-Man, and the Hulk. Therefore, I'd give the win to Frank Castle.

 

EDIT: I know there aren't that many users that frequent this forum, but wouldn't it be better to post this in General Discussion? Posting DC vs. Marvel battles in a DC forum is bound to get the majority of answers in the DC character's favor.

Dude let's leave it where it is. DC gets the most activity of any forum on TNI so even the hardcore marvel guys are here too, never has these topics in the DC forum gone one way, it is usually equally split.

Jason isn't flamboyant. Batman can easily take out the Punisher, heck he did it in the crossover, according to Plastic Man it took him a cool 20 mins to beat up and stop the Punisher. Jason is like a third tier Batman, he has all the skill plus some natural abilities, remember his first encounter with Batman. Jason is no joke, but then again none of the Robin's are.

Yeah, but Jason Todd is hot tempered and reactionary. Frank is the very definition of calm under pressure.

 

And, as an aside, as this 'Battle Forum' moves forward, I personally won't use any specific story as a point of evidence. Any writer can make any hero/villain defeat anyone they want for the sake of story. Instead I will look at the sum total of the character and their strengths and weaknesses. I do believe Todd is a formidable foe(more than a lot of people would give him credit for, especially his fellow Robins) but in the end I think Frank has the edge.

 

Also, I think this can be left in the DC forum, simply because it gets more traffic than the Marvel section. And certainly more traffic than the comic section, where it would wither and die frankly. And anyone coming to the DC section, is probably a fan of comics and general and not giving DC an unfair advantage. I'm sure there are going to be DC-only or Marvel-only arguments, but the location of the the topic thread is not going to have any bearing on those people's opinions. That's my thinking anyway. Carry on!

But Batman has defeated Superman before, who we all know can take down the Hulk. @smilepunch@ Therefore going back to Jason being able to get the best of Batman(who could also best Hulk) from time to time, Punisher is dead meat.

Thank you for all the replies so far guys. I would like to say who I think would win, but I want to leave the thread unbiased since I started the thread. The winner will be determined eventually, by the side that has the better argument.

 

But lets keep in mind that the Batman wasn't trying to kill Jason. So of course Jason would be able to give the Batman a challenge. Frank wont hold back, because his objective would be to try to kill Jason, where Batman just wanted to capture him. Lets also remember that aside from the weapons arsenal that Jason has access to-- Jason was trained by Bruce, along with various martial arts masters from around the world. Jason is basically Bruce, with a sadistic killer instinct...so Frank would have serious problems too. Jason has always been a thug, even from his days as a kid back in the 1980's post-crisis stories. Bruce tried to steer Jason into the right direction as Robin II, but below the surface Jason remained a street thug, with a feverish temper. His father was a small time mobster, for Two-Face's outfit..and his mother was a crook with the Joker...so it seems to be in Jason's genes... Although it has never been proven, I do believe that he did push that rapist Felipe off the fire-escape back in 1988. Jason's nature seems to have always been a violent one. Where as Frank's sadistic nature only came to be, after his family was murdered.

Haha ok someone is cheating or very psychic... No bullsht, but my next beef was actually going to be Darkseid Vs. Apocalypse. But now since Thanos has also been thrown in, it could be a

Handicap match... But so far there hasn't been a winner between Frank and Jason...

 

This question is for anyone... what do you get, when you cross Frank Castle or Jason Todd? Well the first answer would be "death"....

 

But what I mean is, if you fuse Frank Castle and Jason Todd together, what do you get?
