Wow I'm surprised nobody here posted about the earthquake.But as Irene gets closer I still see no posts about the hurricane.

 

Come on I know we have members from the east here.I used to live in the North east(Connecticut)till about 10 years ago.I was through Gloria in 1985 when it hit the tri state area and I have been through some here in Florida.

 

So I hope the people here who will get hit from this hurricane are well and I hope you friends and familes come through this unscathed

It actually hit here on sunday to monday it did some damage but nothing too severe it was raining until yesterday. A little water got in to my place it almost ruined some boxed figures I had. The perks of living in a tropical Island , hope it goes well for the people currently going through this situation and nothing bad happens.

I'm in Florida. They thought it might hit us earlier in the week, but by midweek they were saying it wasn't coming here, which I'm obviously glad for.

 

I'm thinking positive thoughts for all those that are in its path. Be safe, TNI brothers and sisters.

Puerto Rico it was announced as a tropical storm at first but it turned into Hurricane near the Island.

well i'm on leave in texas from fort eustis and i got the call today that they evacuated the base and newport news, i left monday so i missed the earthquake and i'll be missing the hurricane, however all my stuff er i mean collection is in storage so i'm on pins and needles praying i don't go back to ruined toys

Here in Raleigh, we are expecting a ton of rain and wind all day long. My son's football game got cancelled and I expect work to be extremely slow this afternoon, but we will see.

No, I did school there along time ago...1987-1988 actually. I was a 68G which has since been renamed.

NYC got lucky. VA and NC got hit the hardest before coming to NY. All we had was heavy rain but no high wind. No floods, no power outage, nothing.
