Battleship Movie

So just saw the preview, looks interesting Preview. I noticed how the movie really tried to tie in to actual game. Three battle ships vs the Space Ocean Ships? Maybe not from space maybe lost advanced water civilization? Atlanteans? Sure in the movie we will hear them saying coordinates to aim at. Looks cool but it could be just a water version of Battle Los Angeles.

LMAO all hands on deck! anyway I read on wikipedia that the film will show the war on both sides alien and human which sounds pretty good to me make it like Halo only underwater @cap@ @titanic@ if nautical nonsense is something you wish then drop on the deck and flop like a fish

I think it looks pretty cool. Starts out as just another military themed type drama on board a "battleship" (not sure if there's any connection to the game beyond them claiming "based on"??) and suddenly they're dealing with an alien craft of some sort. I see a couple of familiar faces from the HBO show True Blood in there.

Saw the trailer when I went to see Cowboys vs Aliens (average movie, better to wait for the DVD) and was surprised at how engaging the story seems to be, outside of the crappy and typical (under-achieving perfect bodied anti-hero who always gets the hot chick) lead, I think it is worth checking out. In this movie the battleships better kick butt.

This film was good, I liked Alexander Skarsgard and Taylor Kitsch's work in it.
