It's a trap

Recommended Posts

YES! So glad it's not a sniffer! I can't wait to see the bells and whistles of it! Can't wait, hopefully it'll be another Christmas gift

I could barely make out on the sign in front 'Fall 2011.' According to GBFans.com, they are targeting a Halloween release. Looks like I'm going to be a GB again this year.

its freaking sweet i really hope we hear news of a proton pack can't wait to see more on the trap as well

If you thought the trap was sweet before, check out the video of it on the front page of www.gbfans.com

Holy cow! Amazing! Stupendous! Just what I always wanted! And the price is confirmed by the kind lady to be a bit more than first speculated: $135.

I want two of them, so it will be a tough sell to the misses. She already told me that if I got two it would be my entire toy budget for the month. I don't think she realizes how much I spend on toys in a two week pay period, let alone a month.

Neither. Just another crazy fan trying to get the word out to my fellow collectors. I'm following SDCC 2011 with my computer on my lap, a couch under my bottom, and my newborn boy beside me. This time of the year is when I get the nerdiest.

Yeah I saw the video, thought it did some cool things, $135 is a really tough price to justify, especially right around my anniversary. I will be getting one for sure, it's just I'll need to save up for that. The $60 PKE, sure, no problem, $70 Stay Puft, ok I can bite, $135 trap... uhhhh I'll need to save up for that.

On the plus side, thought the fact that the cartridge was removable was a nice touch! I would like to see a demonstration in the dark, on a flat hard surface.

It's a lot, for sure, but it looks to be worth every penny if you have the money to spend. To help with the price, my wife is picking up Stay Puft for Christmas. She's always bummed because the only things I really want for Christmas are toys and collectibles I cannot find. And if I cannot find them then the chances for Laura are extremely slim. That being said, it will be extremely tough to wait for Christmas to get Stay Puft. I did the same with the PKE last year, but it didn't arrive until a week or so before anyways.

As of right now, I'm obligated to save money from each paycheck that usually goes to toys in order to save up for two traps, should I want two. We'll see how that goes.

  • 3 weeks later...

This is pretty sweet. but at $135, I don't think that this will be the trap that I'll be strapping to my belt for conventions. Good ol' stunt trap does the trick for that!

I'll get it because I really regret not getting the PKE Meter.
