If this were released at retail prices, I'd be slightly interested for the drone (and not the crappy roc CC), but it's definately not worth the $20 to $60 that the club is going to charge for it.

Me personally, I love the first POC version, but this one doesn't do a thing for me. I don't care one bit about having that staff or drone. I'm perfectly happy with the Cobra Commander I've already got. Now if he had come with a different mask or something, I might have considered it. But this? Meh...

This figure was warming pegs when POC was first released, and now they're asking $20-60 for it just because it comes with a HISS drone?...

i agree with everybogy i bought 2 of the poc one to open and one for my wall even though i dont like it (ended up customizing it) so theres no way i'm buying it and hasbro has gotten so lazy with the releashing of figures with reused parts ugh

the micky mouse CC at the last con seemed to be of equal quality. Sadly this is a TREND, not an isolated incident.

 

imo the club would have done better to just release the drone in a baggy for 5$ a piece.

They are not going to lose their shirts...these were going for $150+ on ebay. The collecting commmunity is full of speculators, and people will snatch up 2 or 3 of these horrid things thinking they will be like roddy piper, sergeant slaughter or PDD down the line.

The difference between this exclusive and those that you mentioned is that you can still get this figure anywhere. The same can not be said of the others. The only thing you're getting is the HISS launcher which I doubt there is a truly high demand for. So you can't really compare this to the likes of SDCC exclusives of characters you can't get at retail. And anyone that buys up 2 or 3 of these for that purpose is setting themselves up for failure.

True, but the hiss drone is not readily available, which is what people that are buying this thing want. Take a gander at hisstank if you feel so inclined. People were jizzing themselves and talking about ordering 2-3 of them. If people think they can pick something up now to sell at a huge profit later, they will.
