I have a choice of three factions to side with on Fallout New Vegas andd I'm having a hard time choosing which faction should I side with

Caesar'slegion(I'm vilified by them right now but if I side with them all the killings of their troops and the freeing of their slaves will be overlooked)

NCR (I'm accepted by a few of their camps)

Mr.House (I've already returned his platinum chip and killed the one who stole it)

First time through the game I sided with Mr. House. This second time I'm still unsure. I think I'm going to try the NCR. I think because the NCR has many resources, that's the good one. Maybe I'll let you know.

I still haven't even got into my expansions yet!

Fools! Brotherhood for the win. Don't tell me none of you have figured out that path yet.

I'm playing other games right now but I don't feel like siding with the Brotherhood again

Yes, I do like burning and hanging the fools and scum who deserve death! HAHAHA... Well, that's how I felt when I joined the brotherhood. Actually, all scenarios have been pretty cool. I've completed all of them now.

You can only help the Brotherhood if you side with the NCR or yourself. House and Caesar want them destroyed.

Look who has to be all technical.... kidding. Siding for yourself and aiding mcnamara gives the brotherhood complete control over the highways in the mojave, essentially control over the region, siding with the ncr and converting the two causes them to become a massive force to br reckoned with while the west disapproves, the ncr/brotherhood of the mojave become one big faction. Technically an ncr victory, but you know how the BoS works...

I wish there was a more involved storyline for you to become in control of the Brotherhood of Steel. Either way though, the many different endings for this game are awesome and much better than Fallout 3.

I honestly hated the endingfor Fallout 3 where you can either let someone from the brotherhood I forget her name go into an irradiated area or you can kill yourself and save the wasteland I chose to let her kill herself I wanted to continue playing but no I had to go back to right before that and just go questing while I send family and friends to look for the game of the year edition so I can continue playing after that crappyy ending fortunately I rented the game of the year edition and my XBOX saved the extra content.

I still prefer 3 to New Vegas. The Enclave v BoS war was far more interesting with a much better setting. D.C. was mapped beautifully. 3 also had the none ending with the broken steel add on. So continuing your game past project purity and seeing your actions unfold was quite rewarding. New Vegas provided more threats and options in regards to the ultimate outcome but their definite ending that's about to be contridicted twice over by dlc defeats the purpose of not allowing a sandbox ending. The sheer amount of ultra powerful weapons in new vegas cheapened the exploration for technology. Finding the guass rifle in 3 and proceeding to be the reckoning force of the Capitol really felt good.

I don't see the big deal about being able to continue after you beat it. Just create a save file before you wish to see the ending.

I did enjoy exploration more in Fallout 3 as New Vegas feels small and cramped in comparison. I still prefer the weapons to 3 though. With the different modifications and such they just felt better. Not to mention the fact that they don't instantly start doing less damage like in 3.

I actually prefer the third ones weapons like the Experimental MIRV

You make it sound like the Experimental MIRV is a legitimate weapon to use throughout gameplay. It's an awesome weapon (it's a fat boy shotgun!) but you can't use it regularly through the normal story progression.

One thing I'll agree to is that New Vegas really screwed up all the energy weapons with damage reduction. At the beginning there was no point in using any energy weapons since they didn't have any kind of armor piercing rounds. I believe it's been fixed with updates (I sold my copy months ago), but I'm not sure. I've never been a fan of energy weapons so it didn't bother me.

The ycs186 ripped armor apart all the same. Didn't like its crap rusty look compared to the guass rifles in the BoS bunker. The MIRV was still one hell of a fun weapon with little practical use. Point Lookout had a great overlook with about 10 hillbillies below that made for a humorous moment of my screen turning white and my rads pinging like crazy. The AMR remained my weapon of choice while the YCS got me out of tough situations. The Tesla Beaton prototype was a fun few minutes. The holorifle from Dead Money packs a hell of a punch. I'm getting really stoked for the Old World Blues weaponry in a few weeks.
