Wow two negatives in my post, seriously some of you guys are little itches

 

There ya go...

 

I won't be getting this for a number of reasons. I'm not a Swamp Thing Fan, I'm not really sold on the covered joints and moveability. Also, I think the colors are much brighter than what i would want. This is a real classic version of the character which is fine. I wish it would've looked more like an articulated version of the first DC Direct release.

 

Oh yeah, and cost!

The colors are brighter than they should be, it's weird because its a dull brightness. Many people have stated that the covered joints is not a good thing because the material eventually cracks and breaks and will degrade. They should just make a standard version of him. It's kind of liked the flock issue with Moss Man.........better as a thought than execution, the stuff flakes all over everything.

easy pass for me this year...not a big Swampy fan, but his figure does look nice. Though, Im always worried about those figures with rubbery "skin"...like how sensitive they will be to storage and display in the long run. Id hate to pull a box of DC figures out of storage years from now and find that Swampy is all cracked looking or has melted over the whole lot

I have been giving it a long thinking if I want to get him and I come down to the answer of no I'm not going to get him. Swamp looks nice and all but from what I have been reading from you guys about the rubber and I agree I don't like the rubber coming off I have 3 WWE figures that Jakks made along time ago. I got Edge,Hogan and Brock and well both Hogan and Brock are falling apart but Edge that I know is still in good shape. But yeah I don't want to have that trouble with him as well. Also the 30 bucks is a little to much for me. So Swamp Thing is a pass.
