DCUC Wave 16 Azrael Batman Help

Hey guys I recently got my Azrael Batman through pre-order and his chest piece is on crooked. Any recommendation on how to straighten it out with out removing it and re-sealing it? And if I do have to remove it what would be the best method of getting it done? Any help would be much appreciated :-)

As you can see his left side of the chest piece is slightly higher then the right making him uneven.

Wow no matter how I try I can't move my chest peice to look like yours..It's the mold on yours.

Yeah, which is why I want to remove it completely and re-frame it on there. From what I've noticed there are three slots that are glued in. The back and the two shoulders. Removing it is the problem. I already tried a hairdryer on the glued on parts to try and separate it and no luck so far.

Try dipping it in hot water. Or if you have a clothes steamer, give that a shot.

Thanks for the tip Hogan, tried the hot water but the way he is it's a pain to get him there. Plus I was afraid the hot water would totally warp his cape which the hair dryer did anyways but I'm sure the hot water would have been worse and I don't have a clothes steamer to use. Well I was finally able to get him fixed. Gave up on the back peg and just concentrated on the two shoulders with the hair dryer and was able to remove it and then reseal it. Now he looks much better.

 

 

Just need to do some correcting on the slightly warped cape. :-)
