DC Universe 2-Packs

Found DC Universe 2 packs for $17.99 at my local Gordman's (www.gordmans.com). They had Supergirl vs. Lex Luthor, Abin Sur & Hal Jordan, and Clayface vs. Batman.

 

Also I don't know if it's been mentioned or not, but DCU vs. MOTU is $19.99 until the end of the month at Toys R Us. The only one I see around is Skeletor & Lex Luthor. Let me know if you spot a Aquaman/Mer-Man for that price!

There was an article that said a 2-pack of a black-tuxed Joker and a non-blue-faced companion would be coming out this Fall, but I've seen some posts that said it might be cancelled. Can anyone confirm or shoot this rumor down?

I've looked around the net and couldn't find any definitive news on this. I could care less about the Joker repaint, but I really wanted the Harley (having passed on it the first time because of the blue face). I don't even remember hearing about the 2-pack... I thought the black-tux Joker was a TrU exclusive single pack figure

The TRU single packs were cancelled.

 

ToyGuru said in a Q&A a couple of months back that the Joker would now appear in a 2 pack, and indicated it would be with a white-faced Harley. Nothing more has been said about it so far.

I've been really happy with the MOTU 2-packs even though I'm not too psyched about the She-Ra/White T-Shirt Supergirl and Green Lantern/Zodac sets. Some ones that I'd rather see:

 

Teela & Wonder Woman

Orko & Robin

Man-At-Arms & Batman

Faker & Bizarro

 

Evil-Lyn could be paired with Catwoman or Harley Quinn

Joker with Beast Man or Moss Man

 

 

If they ever make Mekaneck I'd like to see him with Plastic Man. Same if they make Sorceress... pair her with Zatanna.
