Iron Man at the Toy Fair

So I was pretty disappointed with the Iron Man figures that were displayed at the Toy Fair. While some of the 6" Legends figures will be interesting, I was hoping for more from the 3.75" line or the MU line. The only thing that did get me super excited was the Classic Avengers 5 pack, with the gold 2nd appearance Iron Man. And instead of a doing a simple repaint of the 1st appearance 3.75" Iron Man from the Iron Man 2 Comic Line, they actually modified the sculpt for a higher neck line, different helmet, and added the classic antenna on the back.

 

I will definitely be picking up this pack, JUST to add the figure to my Iron Man Armory!

 

I was hoping to get more classic Iron Man armors, either through the Armored Avenger line, or through the Marvel Universe, but I will take what I can get.

I'm getting that Avengers pack for the tiny Wasp and AntMan.

 

Of all the IronMan stuff, the one thing that made me smile was the thought of getting a SHS Detroit Steel minifig. Of all the characters to choose from, they went with Detroit Steel. That made me laugh.
