I loved the camp of the 1966-1968 Adam West Batman series and grew up on the reruns as a kid of the 80s. Would any of you guys buy characters designed after that show?

I was watching a Joker episode on The Hub, and realized the Joker DCUC figure would be an easy repaint in a pink/green color scheme with a head sculpted in Cesar Romero's likeness.

I think you'd only need Batman/Robin (the new Robin from wave 16 would be SUCH an easy reissue), and your big four villains, Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman. I'd dig it as a SDCC Exclusive 6-character boxed set. A lot of these would really just need repaints and new heads. Catwoman and Batman would probably need the most retooling.

Any other fans of the old show who would be all over this as a boxed set?

There are many many many characters I'd prefer to see Mattel focusing on before trying something like this. But I wouldn't be opposed to it down the line.

And who wouldn't want a Yvonne Craig Batgirl on their shelf? Mmmmm. Nummy.

While I'm not demanding that it happen, I wouldn't be oppossed to the idea. Just like I would like a Movie Masters set based on all four Batman 80's and 90's Batman movies (yes I said it, all FOUR) plus aleast a Christopher Reeves Likness Superman. Heck just call it DC Movie Masters and start withe the 60's Batman and Robin in the first wave (since I've never noticed any difference from the 60's movie Batman and the tv series), then Reeve's Superman, the the other Batman movies.

Figures from this show have been long overdue. I would certainly buy a set however I would prefer these in an 8-12 inch scale.

I can't watch the show today because of how campy it is but I would like movie masters or any type of versions of all the live action DC shows, George Reeves, Kirk Alyn, even the live action Shazam show and Lynda Carter.

Even though I have met Burt Ward in person from my work about 11 years ago I wouldn't want any of the figures from the show. Plus it maybe hard to get the rights to use there likeness. Spealy the ones that have die. I think though I would love to have only one and that would be Frank Gorshin's Riddler I just love his laugh. But the rest I wouldn't want to have.

Actually, if I had to sacrifice never getting these figures, if it meant getting the DVDs finally made, I would do that.

When will Fox and Warner Bros learn that half of something is a larger amount then all of nothing? Idiots.

You know, when they iron out those licensing and rights issues and release the series on DVD, THAT would be the perfect year to release these as a boxed set.

How about SDCC: Boxed set of Batman, Robin, Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman. And the SDCC attendee exclusive, Alfred. Then MattyCollerctor releases Batgirl, King Tut, Egghead 3pack. Done and DONE!

Doing them as exclusives doesn't really take away from the regular waves and character selections.

That sounds good but two extra things needed -- an in scale Batmobile and a cardboard batcave.
