Still upset about my uncompleted Mass Device...

Seriously, anyone else still really irked at the fact that they have an unfinished Mass Device sitting around. Its just sitting in my Joe junk pile.....(with a bunch of other incomplete vehicles and broken Joes.) They are even hard to come by on ebay these days. I know I'm beating a dead horse but its just something that really "Grinds My Gears" if you know what I mean. Just my little nerd rant for the month........anyone else??

What piece are you missing? i was only missing the treads and there was a guy at the gijoe convention 09? that had a ton of every part and i was able to get my missing piece for a couple bucks. i would try posting to a few different gijoe sites that have message boards that guy has to post at one of them or someone has to know him? i mean this guy had seriously had tons of every part!

I'd wager he's missing the same piece many are and that's the crystal that came with the DVD pack 5. I lucked out and saw one at Marshall's back when they hit, and I drove all over the city to about a dozen different Marshall's to get it.

 

At this point, I'm surprised someone out there hasn't made a replacement of the thing to sell online.

There was someone here selling one and some parts just recenlty.. I have a couple parts that are just collecting dust too, they're in the custom bin right now, which parts are you missing?

I'm missing the whole "Best of the 80's" set.......having Alpine and CC would have been cool and all; but as a fan I just wanted a complete MASS Device. I thought that was one of the coolest things about these sets. I searched high and low for that set.......I've only ever set my eyes on it once. It was at WizardWorld Philly and some scalper wanted 100 bucks for it. (To make it even worse it still had the $15.00 Ross price tag on it) He wouldn't even bargain for the thing.......and he still had it at the end of the weekend.

i was lucky and got that and the weather dom complete for 15.00 shipped off ebay. so i lucked out cuse i didnt get every 5 pack that came out to build my own.

I'm pretty pissed that mine's not complete as well. In fact, I'm missing the same part as you, robbie. If anyone can help I'd be willing to play "let's make a deal". I have some pretty cool stuff in box that I'd be willing to trade. p.m. me. Thanks.

Send your idea to one of the places that sculpts guns and heads and see if they'll make an alternate piece for sale.

 

Perhaps Hasbro will sell a complete one again some day too as a mini-vehicle.

I'm with you on this. I actually made a topic about this last spring.

 

I periodically check ebay to see if the price of the Best of 80's pack is dropping on the secondary market, but it seems it just keeps going up, and less and less of them are appearing on ebay.

 

The whole situation was a pretty @$$hole move on Hasbro's part. The first four sets were EVERYWHERE...and finding the Best of 80's pack was nearly impossible. Thanks for all of the incomplete Mass Devices Hasbro. @grumpy@

Wow, did you hit the nail on the head...the Best of 80's packs are scarce on the internet right now.

 

 

I've seen them on ebay go for around 60 bucks; thats the lowest I've seen.......that was about a month ago. But they are showing up less and less.
