Well last weekend I docorated and did something I haven't done in a few years.I put out all of my Rankin Bass figures as decorations.I usually have then stored away till christmas but in the past few years I was working like crazy and would be lazy and tired to get them all out.Sinjce i'm unemployed I had more energy this year

As you can see, I like the freshwater bass over the saltwater bass.

VERY COOL! Makes me want to pick em' all up for myself to display.....I can't believed I passed on these when they were out.....

Yeah, I love these Wheeljack. Every year I see them at TRU and every year I say I'm gonna get 'em and display them for Christmas, and I never do. I'd love to have these as I'm a huge Rankin/Bass fan. Santa Claus is Comin' to Town is my favorite one, so much so that I wish they'd do a live-action version someday. Maybe Tim Burton could do it; the little town in the show being all in black and greys along with the similarly-dressed residents reminds me of his style. It'd be cool as long as he wouldn't make it too quirky. And it's funny 'cause he loves to delve into what makes the lead characters in his movies tick and what events in their childhood shaped them and molded them into who (or what) they are, and that's kinda how the show is. I think it explains the legend of Santa Claus and the origins of some Christmas traditions perfectly.

I have been picking these up for the last 10 years now.I'm only misssing a couple of peices and i'm bummed that the Santa Claus is coming to town figures didn't go on longer because I needed more from that line

I forgot to thank you for posting this. I didn't know these even existed until you did. I went on eBay and got Rudolph, Hermey, and Sam Snowman for my brother and his fiancee for Christmas. They love them. (Even if my brother has always been freaked out by Sam. @firedevil@)

The Rudolph figures are still being sold in stores..TRU had them along with the Frosty figures
