Young Justice Discussion Thread

Is this related to Young Justice in any way? Seems like the same story and characters. Even the art/animation style is exactly the same YJ.

I thought the Joker was great in last week's episode. I don't feel like he needs to always be portrayed the same.

 

Tonight's episode was another great one. This really is one of the best shows on TV for me. I live in constant fear that Cartoon Network will murder it before it gets anywhere.

The show is getting better but that guy they had doing Joker SUUUUUUCKED! He was not good at all. It was worse than the one from 'The Batman" show ugh! I like how they're including more members along the way. Zatanna was a nice addition.

It was kinda like WTF after it ended.

 

Seemed like a whole lot of stuff just to tell us Miss Martian is a crazy-powerful telepath.

 

I guess I'd have to say I didn't care for the episode, but I'm not sure.

I thought the show was good coulda been a 2 parter though. Isn't Ms.Martian a white alien in the comics so maybe that's why she's all powerful maybe theyre leading up to that or something?

 

With everyone dying left and right I was getting alittle choked up then it was all a dream! I was relieved haha

I think I feel kinda cheated. They did way too much explaining at the end. And none of it was stuff you could figure out on your own other than maybe that it wasn't real since everyone was dying.

 

I mean, who could have predicted that it was a training exercise that Miss Martian took control over because of the distress of seeing two teammates die but not from seeing Wolf die? @hmmm@

I liked it, it was a nice kindoff alternate reality episode.

I had a feeling that this was some kind of dream or alt reality that this was being portrayed in.But I was thinking at the time who is powerful enough to do this because the bad boys of Apokalypse never tried this before

I just caught this past weeks episode on my DVR........I thought it was AMAZING!! So many layers to that episode........compared to most of the crap that kids are given these days with cartoons. I was under the impression the whole time that the JL weren't being killed but were being teleported the whole time too......then after Robin and Kid-Flash were taken out I was like "WHA" I was under the impression is was going to be a 2-parter. Then they explained everything........but I thought it was awesome. I'm honestly surprised with some of the negative posts regarding the "Failsafe" episode.

I liked last night's episode better than last week's. I liked the therapy sessions with Black Canary. And Superboy is a good character, so the emphasis on him and the New Genesis characters was fine by me even though I'm not familiar with any of them.

I liked last night's episode too. I like how they had Richard Grayson, admitting that he isnt like Bruce Wayne... Its a nice nod to the personalities in the comic books. Ive always seen Richard as growing up under both Batman and Superman's care. In my opinion Richard possesses the abilities of his mentor Bruce Wayne, but his personality is more like Kal El/Clark Kent's, because his trauma hasn't made him a jaded character driven by rage. Also he's willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, similar to Superman, where as the Batman is the opposite.

 

I loved that they threw in some New gods in this episode. As Ive said before, I just love the animation style of this cartoon... Its the best thing that DC has released, since the original Batman the animated series. And I love the animation style of Young Justice a lot more, than any DC Comics cartoon released since the Super Powers Team.

 

I love Desaad's monstrous look, in last night's episode. I cant wait to see how menacing, Darkseid will look like on this show.

Yeah I didn't know them either but it does set up a showdown with Darkseid later in the series
