Recipe of the Day.

ARROW

Recommended Posts

Inspired by a purchase of a POC wave 2 Dusty and Zartan--both excellent figures- I have a swap-bash recipe for a all new character:

YOU NEED:

25th Tiger Force Flint

POC Wave 2 Zartan

Pop head off Tiger Force Flint & remove harness.

Put on black "Sandstorm" vest & head w/ goggles onto Tiger Force Flint body

Add tricked out MP-5 from Zartan set...

...and there you should have a simple straight-forward swap bash.

For now, I'm gonna call him:

UNDERBRUSH

Tiger Force Jungle Warfare specialist.

File Name: Flynn, Neil

Primary Military Speciality: Infantry, Jungle Warfare

Secondary Speciality: Janitor

Grade: E-5

Underbrush started out as a janitor for a Hospital Teaching school, then got bored with the silly dramas there and decided to enlist, where he promptly found himself doing the same job after basic training.

He transferred to infantry, took the Ranger course and passed, and then applied to the Joe Team.

He was accepted......and was assigned janitorial duties yet again.

In a fit of pique, he approached Hawk and got a spot on the Tiger Force, where he currently serves.

General Hawk says:" Whatever career luck Underbrush has had seems to have been cleared up. He's an asset to Tiger Force. Maybe there was something about mopping all those floors that's made him a better soldier.

He checks under EVERYTHING, looking for trouble. If I need a soldier to clean up a mess of COBRAs, give him a "room broom" and he's the one I'd turn to".

Please feel free to add your own "recipes".

Another little quick tip that I just did myself:

For an item that some folks might not find a use for:

The barb wire roll that comes with POC Dusty--stick it on the brush-guard ( the fold up frame on the front ) on the DTC Night Ops Humvee.

That or it might work on the front of the Dred Knoks Thunder Machine.

Just tuck the ends around the frame, no need to intertwine the whole thing.

At the convention, I took some pics of the customs like this, where no painting was involved, just part swapping....and they were great!

Oh wow, there's some great ideas there.........but I'd need me some more figures to pull some of those off.

Not a recipe per se, but a simple add-on:

What to do with POC Dusty's barbed-wire--as mentioned in a my post above--finally got around to taking a pic--

Night-Hummer.jpg

another view of the vehicle--just for the heck of it:

102_1857.jpg

The figure on the rear is a straight headswap of a City Strike Duke-with the spare standard head of the POC Firefly.

There's assorted other swap-bashes on board.

Snake-eyes is the Rip-Attack Snake-Eyes with a Pit Commando vest.

Just forward of them, standing at the back of the canopy are Duke in a Spytroops ghillie-suit poncho--he uses the body of a Jungle Assault Ripcord.

Beside him is a stock Jungle Assault Ripcord with POC Duke's back-pack and a VvV Gungo-Ho's cap.

In the first pic, the top turret position is manned by a swap-bash of Tiger Force Flint's head fitted to a POC Duke body. The neck is covered by the black plastic scarf that came with the Resolute Comic Pack Destro/Shockblast.

These are so easy to do, and inspired by Giltyone's swap-bashes mentioned above.
