He Man 2002, Batman the Animated Series 6"!

He-Man here was created using the body of a DC Universe Public Enemies Major Force, the head, armor/weapons, and hands from the 2002 He-Man sculpted by the 4 Horsemen. The lower legs came from a LCBH Conan and were the perfect size to attach to the DCU knee hinge, I just needed to widen the hole a bit more for the peg. A slight modding of the articulation was needed and a few paint coats later He-Man was finished! Now Skeletor has some competition on my shelf.

After making my first version of a DCU Batman from the Animated Series my inbox was flooded with requests to do the version from the first series. I went with the DCU Public Enemies Batman head I like so much and used the Batman Walmart 5-pack body. The paint job was done to look like 'cell shading' with the strong, defined blue highlights. His grappling gun was made from fodder bits and completed the BTAS look!

Jin... from execution, to choice of parts used, to paint job, this He-man is just bad friggin' ass.

 

Batman looks great, too. It is always tough to recreate the shading from a flat comics page or animation cel on a three dimensional figure, but I can't imagine it being attempted much better than you have done here. I'm just really impressed with how much you made the Public Enemies head look like the early animated figure with a simple but effective repaint. Great work man.

Good lord Jin, I swear if I ever take control of a major toy company, you will be Chief Exec. of design, and whatever else you want to chief up.
