it's funny. for as little action as skids got during G1, he sure has gotten a whole lot of love in the past decade. this figure does look pretty good though.

He is a forgotten G1 commidty that till noe never had an updated figure

he also got the TRU Reissue. between the two of them, there was quite a buzz to get him.

I'd wish Hasbro wouldn't touch Beast Machines until all the major players from Beast Wars are done. However, it seems like they're starting it wrong by making Tankor a deluxe. He should be Voyager sized.

I wasn't a fan of Beast Machines so most likely a pass for me... I agree Tankor needs to be voyager though... Now where is my Optimus Primal...

Wow, I'm really impressed with Cosmos and Payload! They look great! I think I may actually pick these up :D I hope they give the same high-end treatment to more of the mini's.

New Generations Skyfire... I was hoping the alt mode looks more like the cartoon... Robot mode looks almost perfect though...

I know what you mean, although I'm actually digging the G1 toy look of the alt mode here. This Skyfire looks almost MP quality. Hopefully the final product looks this good (ie. don't cut paint aps).

Ohhh...that is absolutely fantastic!! I cannot wait to get that one. I owned and loved the original Jetfire, but it always bugged me that he didn't look like the cartoon version, complete with the traditional humanoid face most Transformers had on the show as opposed to the unaltered Robotech Valkirie head-sculpt the toy sported. In fact, now that I think about it, the show version didn't look like the toy very much at all. I think that may be one of the reasons I didn't mind passing my vintage Jetfire down to my kid brother. He still cherishes it. (lol)

Hmm, looks ok. But that mold is very Jazz.

I think I'm more curious to see how Windblade turns out.

Awesome!! That was always one of my favorite late-comers in the original line, although the actual toy was never remarkable. I liked his colors and the fact that he was a Headmaster. I love that they're tackling some of the later characters like this. Sweet...
