THREES COMPANY still can make me laugh. If a sitcom over 30 years of age can still make you laugh, I know its of quality and I only watched it in syndication. John Ritter had great physical comedy and all the chicks were hot.

 

 

Your RIGHT, any show out of its era yet holds up is a real test of its power. That is the way I feel about "What's Happening"...the one liners and puns are timeless....same deal with Our Gang/Little Rascals, I should of added them.....they are funny today as back in the 30's when they aired.

 

 

Also is the show Community the one with the Asian actor who played in the Hangover?

Boondocks is definitely worthy of mention. Hard to call it straight up comedy though.. it's a bit more satire to me.

Oof! Some of these choices need to ferment a bit to see if they stand the test of time. Another possibility is that some people need to watch a little more TV before they start doling out the trophies. I'm reminded of a conversation I had with a kid who told me he'd just seen "the best movie of his life... Iron Man II." I told him to watch a few more movies before he handed down that award.

Southpark does their fair share of bashing everything and everyone for any reason. Got to give them props for that

I think I am going to give Big Bang a chance... Everyone I know raves about it...

 

 

You can't go wrong there especially when they bring up things from the world of comics and movies.Once Sheldon had a toaster that made Cylon toast and the joke there is if you seen the new BSG they reffered to the Cylons as toasters.Plus seeing Cylons on the toast was pretty funny

 

I am almost done with season 3... I went on a BBT binge... LOL
