Do we not have moderators in this board or what??? After 3 days of these guys arguing and derailing the thread can we get one of them to end the bickering that's not on topic and resume said topic??

Anyhow I agree with the vehicles and DCUC's lack of them. But to be honest there is only 1 vehicle that any toy line could do that is iconic enough to make in a toy line, the Batmobile!! If there's any Batman figure it has to be made! Any other vehicle just isn't iconic enough, a far second would be Wonder Woman's jet, but that would be too big or severly undersized that collectors would just bit h and moan!!! Otherwise this is strictly a action figure line!!

That said a collect and connect Hall of Justice or Hall of Doom would be the greatest thing ever, and the swan song at the end of the line!!!

We do have the Bat bike from TDK. My son has a batmobile from the movie that is pretty close in scale too. I think it's from the first movie.

But yeah, we need a DCUC scale batmobile that comes with a Batman w/ cloth cape.

Or better yet, a 2 seat Batmobile like the classic Superfriends version with a soft goods Dick Grayson Robin!!!! Perhaps a SDCC/mattycollector exclusive!!! Guaranteed to sell!!! This way it'd sell and nor be returned by unscrupulous collectors switching out figures at store level.

The soft goods Batman could be just another variant that's included in a future wave!!!

Hot Wheels made the one from the batman tv show. I think it's more in scale with 3.75". I used to have a plastic one of the same type, but it was either for mego or 12" size...i wanna say mego. it was so cool.

However, for 6", they made the tv show bat bike w/ side car. It's like $40 tho. I'm hoping it goes on sale on tru.com or locally...or i see it at a flea market in a year or two. :)

ETA: Here are the ones that are out now (or at least were):

"In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion."

Xorr, if you want an example of this head on over to the Aquaman vs. Namor thread you burned to the ground.

And Flounnderr, maybe troll was a poor choice of words for you, but it's easier than writing "you have no idea what you're talking about".

Awww... You're making me blush.

Anyways, I didn't know the tru batbike was 6". Does anyone have a pic with a dcuc figure? I'd be interested to see. Also, I have the Batmobile from the 2002 batman line that has been waiting for me to customize. As soon as i have time to cast the flip up lid thing in trans. orange, i should be ready to paint.

Joshua

I don't have a pic, but the scale is listed on the box.

With regards to the photos of the bat-cycle and Batmobile above:

1:12 is 1/12th scale, which is the scale of DCUC and Marvel Legends.

1:18 is 1/18th scale, with is the scale of the little GIJOEs, DCIH, MU etc.

This assumes that the vehicles have been properly made in said scales, because they might be larger or smaller compared to the figures for various reasons.

True. But I looked at the bike in the store and it looks right. I don't think you can put the plastic cape Robin the passenger seat tho. :(

one word...NOSTALGIA. the fact that Mattel/4Horsemen are paying homage to the Super Powers collection says it all.

and as far as Marvel Legends compared to DCU. DCU is way better in terms of sculpt. DCU is slowly taking the throne.

Toy Biz Marvel Legends still slaughters DCUC in every way possible. Sculpt, Paint, Articulation and Characters. Nuff' Said.

TB ML has around 130 different characters. DCUC has released or will released (announced; not including fan picks that haven't officially been anounced) around 125 different characters. By next year, DCUC will surpass TB ML in total characters (different characters). Obviously TB ML has way more total figs cause they released a TON of Iron Man, Hulks, and Wolverines. Plus multiples of many other characters.

DCUC OTOH, only has a few Superman, Batman, a couple Hals, and some other repaints. The percentage of total figures to total characters heavily favors DCUC.

Sculpt and Paint is opinion.

Articulation definitely goes to TB ML. Different bucks goes to TB ML.

Here you go, I created this a few months ago.

DCSH/DCUC/SB:PE will surpass Marvel Legends and their offshoots of Spider-Man Classics, Hulk Classics & X-Men Classics.

As of Toy Fair 2010, DC is catching up pretty quick. Here is a list of all characters (Including confirmed characters from the past through the current schedule of release) in question.

*Note - This list is not a checklist. It only list the many characters that we have in both, DCs and Marvels, worlds that we have or that have been confirmed. It does not list the many variants of a character.

Currently, the count is 147 to 216 in Marvels favor (Does not include the many repaints for either property):
