There's two kinds of Star Wars.

I'd take Star Trek over those crappy prequils any day. If your talking original SW, it's a tie!

Actually, we're supposed to be talking about CnC and DCUC figures.

I have the left arm. I'm looking for Darkseid left arm and legs or Kilowog's leg (from Shark), Torso, head/crotch.) Let me know if you have any.

Wait. Are you trying to trade for pieces??? You aren't FORCED to buy the figures?!??!??!?

SP, you are not alone in your fondness of the prequels.

I enjoy all six Star Wars movies, as well as the Clone Wars mini-sodes. In fact my only problem with the second volume of that series is it wasn't put on the big screen.

Thank goodness.........I always assumed that there are more Star Wars fans than Star Trek but this is not so on TNI.

The prequels weren't bad to me at all...even Episode I...while not in the caliber of the rest it is still entertaining. Episode II had me flinching in my seat with excitement and Episode III was just great. I find myself watching Episode III over and over again. Lucas didn't loose his touch as everyone like to think.

Am i weird for not liking SW?

I'd say no, especially with the quality of the prequel movies.

I don't know what you're trying to say. In my opinion, those movies are so bad that they could make someone who liked Star Wars not like Star Wars.

Episode II had me flinching in my seat listening to Anakin spew groan-inducing dialogue during that scene with him and Padme by the fireplace. And LOOK! When Padme's shirt rips, it transforms into a perfect tube top!

I'm not a big DC fan. There are tons of DCUC figs I have who I don't know about, but I really appreciate the figures themselves. From sculpt to paint. Like I don't know who Despero is, but his figure is pretty damn cool looking.

Yea, the DCUC product is excellent, and the characters really do look good, regardless of who they are--a testament to the 4Horsemen sculpts, I reckon.

I'm not a fan of every character myself, so I have only a modest amount of DCUC, but I do admire the figures I don't collect.

There is no doubt his acting sucked....but the overall excitement of the development to a story we never saw is what got me hype. I never forget the rush of excitement across the theatre and the universal *gasps* when yoda walked in at the end to fight Dooku....you could feel the tension and excitement.....the actor who played Anakin sucked but the overall movie itself was good.

How did you get that???? NOBODY was supposed to know!!!! Oh wait, You obviously didn't read any of posts especially the one that I talk about 4 options to complete BAF's which are 1) Buy the entire wave, 2) Buy Parts at inflated prices off ebay, 3) stop collecting or 4) Spend hours and hours online cobbling the baf together by searching message boards.

This is the problem with the BAF's as they are now run by Mattel. I am advocating for more options, and would like Mattel to take an active part in resolving these issues. Clearly i'm not the only one who sees things this way.

regards,

Joshua

PS- There have been only a few times that i've gotten parts off the messege boards, because many people either sell them for inflated prices, or demand rediculous trades. This is not the case with everyone, but enough for me to realize that this is not a dependable option to complete the baf.

I think the BAF (or C&C) concept is a good idea. If it weren't for the BAF concept, I don't think I would have ever been able to get a cool Sentinel toy. Also, like many others have pointed out, it extends the life of the toyline. Even if DC Universe Classics only lives for another 3-5 years, that's pretty good for a toyline, right?

I know your mileage may vary, but I've been able to get good deals on Ebay and especially from other people on this board for BAF pieces. I was able to complete my Darkseid BAF for under $60 and I only bought two figures from the wave at retail. You just have to be a little patient. I'm also one leg away from completing my Brimstone figure, and I didn't buy any of the figures from retail.

It would be nice to buy larger figures (whole at a higher price point), but I don't think there's just enough demand beyond collector types to allow Hasbro or Mattel to do that at retail. I am hoping Hasbro's upcoming Galactus figure for the Marvel Universe line does well, though!

Hey Flounnderr, I can't believe this is coming from me but why don't you stop being such an ass.

I'm sorry your many contradictions and misinformation were exposed and other than bullsh*t sarcasm you have no response to anything but that's not our problem.

At this point your just trolling so why don't you take Xorr, find a lawyer and start researching that Mattel "extortion" lawsuit so you can stop Mattel from "forcing" us to buy toys.

*Snicker*

This guy still doesn't get it, does he? I'd draw a diagram, but nah. It's more fun to watch people stew in their own ignorance. @firedevil@
