New DC Universe 2 Pack out! Walmart Exclusive

Recommended Posts

I stopped collecting DCUC after Wave 3 (mostly because of MOTUC), but I found these tonight, and I bought the Batman and Robin pack. I haven't opened it yet, but Robin looks pretty cool (the reason I wanted it).

I was surprised at how good the Aquaman pack looked. The pictures made it seem pretty bad, but seeing it in person it was pretty slick. If they weren't $30, I probably would have bought it, too.

found a lone batman and robin(the only one i wanted) and noticed something. on the back instead of aquaman and black manta, it shows a superman and bizarro 2-pack. anyone heard anything about this coming out? the supes looks to be lighter blue and the bizarro is the same color.

Its coming Matty says if these sell well. I bet it comes out since these will most likely sell! The Bat set because its the the Bat Family and well a lot of collectors will bite on Aquaman just because they missed his first short hair release. On a side note, a frind of mine grabbed the Bat Family set for me while he was out of town last night! So I now have both! All caught up to wave 14! Wow that was super fast! @loll@

a WALMART Employee beat me at it. i was happy to see the box on the pallet just to find out it was just the aquaman/manta pack. and then saw this Walmart employee on his way out telling me "so you got the other half" (while holding 2 sets of batman/robin). douche!

I wish we had gotten the Batman pictued on the back of the box. It looks like an amalgam of the DCSH Batman with the sculpted bat symbol, gloves, and boots of the black and grey Batman, and the large pocketed belt of the first DCSH Batman.

I agree. That's a much better looking Bats than the one that actually comes in the two-pack. The belt is especially pathetic.

The one on the back does indeed look better. I don't mind the Public Enemies belt used on this figure, I just wish the color was darker. The yellow just looks too bright to me. I also wish Mattel could have atleast used a different Batman head. The bronze age/Adam West head is getting a little old.
