I think Thor Buster Iron Man was a toy figure full of potential - nice details, good articulation, appropriate size. In my opinion, what killed this figure isn't the paint apps. It's the hands. Toybiz could have sculpted a fist. Toybiz SHOULD HAVE SCULPTED A CLOSED FIST. I wouldn't care if its fingers didn't move.

If Toybiz didn't want to sculpt a closed fist then they should have at least made a pair of "kung-fu grip" hand. You know, like those that belong to G1 GI Joe or like those that belong to the Sigma 6 line. But no! They had to have a pair of hands that are ready to slap Thor with. Why the hell didn't they make all the four fingers - index, middle, ring, pinky - curved into a C? Like Colossus!

Hmm... Now that's an idea. I was lucky to purchase an XMC Colossus with a broken knee. I used his hands to replace Iron Man's hands. I also used a button - yes, a button - for that lump that protrudes from the hands of the Thor Buster armor. I also cut a tiny portion of a pen - you know the one that holds the ink and the tip - to make the Repulsors on both palms.

I thickened the lines in torso and legs, sort of made a stopper in the torso, too. For me these metal bands that run on the torso is what make the armor unique. The bands on the legs were also thickened. However, the lump on both legs were removed as I found them to be unnecessary.
