Cobra Island 7-packs at Ross

Recommended Posts

yo guys, just a heads up, the "internet exclusive" 7-packs are being found at Ross for 16.99

I found some today and I am psyched. I was worried that I wouldn't ever get them because I hate getting figures off the net. Just last week I lost an auction for Alley Viper!

so get out there and get hunting

idk about clam but distribution is weird...some ross got only joe packs, some only cobra and few of them both around here.

I don't know about distribution either... I hit like 6 stores and barely found anything.

I think there is some huge douchebag in sacramento that goes around and buys up everything Joe-related when it goes on sale or hits.

I remember when we had like 20 Target giant battle sets laying around between 3-4 stores at 34 bucks each.. the very day they dropped to 14 bucks they were all gone within hours. Who needs 20+ sets?

Same thing with the Target jets. When they dropped to 6 bucks, they were all gone in hours.

Same thing with the Target Then and Now snowmobile sets. I saw an average of 10 at 4-5 stores when they were on clearance for 12 bucks. But now they are all gone.. I don't know how they got rid of like 50+ sets instantly.

etc

Checked out a few locations around SF, and mainly saw the Joe one. I bought 2 of them, but found that not all the figures were in good shape (Recondo's leg was bent forward, and other little inconsistencies). Still though, a good price, I just need to find some Cobras. =D

To me...its like finding the red rider behind the x-mas tree. I went at 930 in a cool like I'm sposed to be there not too eager sprint to the toy section, 1 box cobra & 6 box joes for 16.99, they also had Star wars- 2 boxes of the Joker squad set for 14.99, I snagged the only cobra & 1 Joker set. I'm familiar in a sick way with all the stores that sell Joe's in the east valley, from box stores WM, Terrget, S-marts to ross, tjmaxx, marshalls, fye, suncoast, tuesday morning, big lots, kohls, burlington coat factory, walgreens, local supermarkets, comix stores, swap meets, g-sales, cl-list........whathaveyou, it seems like most stores are ransacked all week, so tuesday & friday mornings/ sunday night near closing. I pretty much go when I have extra cash and I don't have a car so I have to pay some willing masochist. Unless its a gottahaveya, I wait for sales and find cool markdowns like these, but I still have yet to see a Snake Armor Set. And I once held a Kamakura in my hands but was Xmas shopping for othersso I put it back......in the past month give or take, I've snagged 1-avatar mech for 10 bux, the avatar dragonfly on steroids for 20 bux, MU Ironman/Giant for 7.50, a few crimson vipers & other ROC dudes for 3 apeice, Ice Dagger and Steel Crusher for 11 a piece, SW-AtSt for 25. May the Toy Gods shine, Good hunting to the lot of you.
