ESB variant figures

I've seen pegs full of both the dark-skinned Bespin Wing guard and the bearded Hoth soldier, but I'm really wondering about the variants of these. Does the cleanshaven Hoth soldier or the Alien bespin wing guard even exist? I don't think it's the same thing as the ugnaughts as those were originally intended as a 2-pack. (Seen 2 pegs full of the blue one, too. I only ever saw 1 grey ugnaught, and I snapped him up quick!)

 

Is it just a distribution thing? I never saw Darth Krayt, Scramble on Yavin, or a Tarados Gon, for that matter.

 

Anyone know?

I'm still looking for those two you mentioned.As for the Darth Krayt I found one in a comic two pack.I posted a thread here and traded him away

 

I did pick up the Scramble on Yavin Battle Pack almost a year ago

The Rebel was never released (was supposed to be in the AotC wave but because the production of that wave was so short it was already over by the time Hasbro realized their mistake) but should be released in a Battle Pack this year. The Bespin Guard should still be coming in the EU wave (which is now a Toys R Us exclusive). The Scanning Crew Trooper was also going to have a variant (with the other half of the scanning equipment), rumor is it will be released in the Saga Legends line either this year or next.

On a related note, but not really worthy of it's own topic, I would like to have a bunch of the Bespin troops, witht he use of head swaps, and was wondering if anyone's gone that route yet? So far, with what's available on shelf, I figure the Willrow Hood might fit the one dark-skinned fella, and hopefully the hat too, but has anyone found any other good head swaps?

I changed the heads on my Star Trek figures with a blow dryer but I don't know if it the Hasbro figures are similiar

Weemus Swall:

Just a Marlon Wayans Ripcord head dremeled out to fit. I figures the hands were close enough in color so they stayed.

 

 

Tals Wrad:

Added the head from Llats Ward and some BBI hands that were a good match. The Llats head sits a little low, but I figure these guys can't all be the same height, right?

 

I know, I wasn't really trying on the names, but hey...

I have a question...How did you remove there heads? Is it similiar to what I did with then Star Trek figures?

Most of them just pop off since they are ball sockets.
