took Spiderman Shattered dimensions back getting to frustrated with the Noir level

 

Damn for real. I got a little frustrated with it, but what level did you have trouble with.

the first Noir level where you're supposed to take down Hammerhead when he's oon the Gatling gun I continously used the shadows but the moment I go to snag him with a web the turret turns around and blasts me to piececs

 

U got to do it virtually right when it shows up and not get so close. U do either one, and boom turns around. I got past it and honestly like the others said the Noir levels are pretty much the easiest.

Also a new Tekken CG film has been announced as well which is done by the same company that did the Resident Evil CG flick. Looks pretty amazing

I ended up getting to 250 last night, and quit because you have to use Shang Tsung to fight Shao Kahn, and I suck with Tsung.

 

I spent some time learning a few combos with Tsung tonight, and beat Kahn after about half an hour, only to find out the next challenge is fighting Baraka/Sindel/Shao Kahn in one fight...so besides having to beat him again, you have to fight two scrubs before him. @lol@

 

Needless to say, I skipped that one...first challenge that I have skipped. Got up to 265 and quit for the night.

 

I m at 260 right now, I surprisingly beat the Baraka,Sindel, Kahn fight on my first try. I m fairly decent with Shang and kept hitting Kahn with my 6 hit combo. He barely touched me but I fought him at about half my life. Shang also has some moves that replenish some of his health, namely his throw, which i spammed when i fought Baraka and Sindel however it wasnt very easy. I have yet to skip any challenges so heres hoping that wont change.

 

EDIT: So the sindel/baraka/kahn fight has nothing that is the ridiculousness that is 269 and I believe 273.... one has you fighting 3 SHAO KAHNS with no lifebar recovery and with STRYKER of all friggin characters and the other has you fighting 3 GOROS with no lifebar recovery. (At least with the Goros you are using Ermac) They really dont want you to win. Needless to say those 2 were the first Ive ever skipped. Im betting in order to get the achievo/trophy for beating tower that I ll have to go back and beat them. But damn those 2 got me so annoyed I had to stop. I ended up at 278 I think. I actually got to the 3rd Goro but only the 2nd Kahn.... good god that was just too much.

Yeah the tekken live action movie was kind of garbage. It isn't worse than the king of fighters movie or the legend of chun li but i think it is better than the original street fighter.

Both movies came out internationally lat year, though I am not sure if they came out in the US yet - like DOA, KOF and Tekken sucks, therefore will have a limited release.

 

Tekken is better than KOF, the two SF movies, and DOA, but it is still garbage. It is like a really like one of those cheesy 80s movie.

KOF is the worst fighting game movie ever

 

I honestly liked DOA... i didnt think it was amazing but its worth watching. It had its moments and at least the acting was decent and not crazy ridiculous like sayyyyyy legend of chun li. That had the worst acting, lines and characters. Dude from american pie essentially killed that movie despite having a black eyed pea play as a bad Vega and Liu Kang playing Gen. I have yet to watch KOF but from the one liner edited youtube video that was like 14 minutes long sold me that the movie is bad. Tekken was kind of like a modern day original street fighter movie... if that makes sense. bad story and semi decent acting. It wouldve been better as an anime(which i know they did a tekken animated movie but something about it sucked to me).

I'll most likely be skipping the 3 Shao Kahns, but I'll give the Goro fight a go, as Ermac is the character I use most of the time (along with Kung Lao).

 

I'm thinking the same thing you are about the achievement for beating the tower. It's gonna suck if you have to go back and beat the ones you skipped.

Sorry to tell you but the customization is still in, not sure how far that entails but they said they are changing it up for this new one. Also this new one is set 17 years later and the main dude or bad guy or whatever is Sophitias son. Also they are redoing the cast. There wont be alot of returning characters from what Ive read. Kind of like what Street Fighter III did back in the day.

It's Tekken 3 all over again. LOL I bet most of the male characters will be returning eventually, and that one or two females won't age via cryo freeze or some sort of voodoo. Thinking IVy might not age since she is basically a zombie

So, I beat the tower today...the last battle, you have to fight Goro, Kintaro, Mileena and Shao Kahn, but you can use any fighter you want, so it wasn't that hard.

 

You don't get the achievement/trophy for "Tower Master"...so you have to complete all of the missions, including the ones you skip to get it. However, you do unlock Mileena's alternate costume, and get the achievement for that.

 

Now, I guess I get to practice forever with Stryker until I can beat 3 Shao Kahns in a row with him.

Okay, just beat challenge 269 "This Is Insane!"...where you have to beat the 3 Shao Kahn's with Stryker.

 

All I did was get some distance on him and use Stryker's gun shot over and over again...it hits Kahn before he can release his spear so he doesn't release it. Whenever he'd do his hammer throw, Stryker's gun shot is fast enough that you have enough time to jump over the hammer. Pretty easy to do using this strategy.

 

Now, the only one I have left to beat is 251...the one where you have to use Shang Tsung to beat Baraka, Sindel and Shao Kahn...and man, is it pissing me off. I can get to Shao Kahn every time no problem, but he just kicks the sh*t out of me...

Wow...I've never been so close to throwing my controller through my television before...

 

I'm watching all of these other videos of people beating 251, and it's like their copy of Mortal Kombat came with the short bus version of Shao Kahn...they just jump over him to cross him up and do the little four hit combo over and over again to him.

 

I try that, and he does his upward charge at me 50% of the time...he even juggled me with it in one match, hitting me another two times in the air after the first charge. He either does that, or his uppercut with the hammer that seems to hit me even if I'm on the other side of him...

 

I'm pretty sure I'm never gonna play Shang Tsung again after I beat this challenge.

Finally, after an hour of playing that cheap challenge, the tower is 100% complete, and I got my achievement.

 

Shao Kahn can suck it.
