Its single player only, at least the PC is. Im pretty sure the console versions are solo only as well tho. It would be amazing if it was multiplayer. I believe they are making a sequel coming out soon that has multiplayer and I believe an MMO as well. Its pretty damn good even comparatively to diablo. I like the classes better in diablo but what can you do?

This is why you only play with friends or in a guild have a guild leader who splits the loot evenly among the group

took Homefront back I liked it but I just couldn't put enough time into it also I got Modern warfare 2 cleaned so no more Black Ops

They should remake King's Quest VI for the 3DS... My favorite in the series... The touch screen would be perfect to revive some of these old classics...

I would place demons souls as one of the best games this console generation. You have to be a certain type of player to not hate it though...I dont mean "l33t" or "hardcore" either. If you enjoy loot games, and once you get that "fools rush in" you'll have a better time. I dont know what the community is like now, but it was cool when it first came out. People left helpful meassages, PVP was actually skill based..etc.

 

Looking through the DS boards now, it seems the community is infested with all the glitchers/griefers/jumper/campers...etc of the FPS scene. Also people have invested much time into finding ways to break the game.

 

I agree, once I learned that heavy armor was only good for aesthetics and light armor with dodge works out much better I started pushing through the game much quicker. And I was especially surprised to see how easy the archdemons (final boss fight of each archstone) were.

 

I'm now on my second play through with the 40% increase in difficulty and about halfway through again. Good thing I only need to beat it 4 times to achieve a platinum. @smilepunch@

I was playing the remake that was untrue to the originals in that it added a bunch of new stuff in.... But I still enjoyed playing them none the less ... I did see something about a kings quest 8 called silverline or something but never looked into it yet I've been too busy playing ... lol .... it looks like ... the creators of the originals actually have something to do with it though just from a quick look at the webpage if so that is awesome news!

 

I was looking for a playable version of # 4 just now but not having much luck.... Currently searching for a copy of #5 to download ... then I will move on from there... I have all these in the boxes on floppy disks in a closest but no longer have floppy diskreader ... @loll@ Maybe I need to look for a old junker pc at a yard sale

Played WWE Legends of Wrestling last night. Solid game, a few minor complaints, but over all it was a fun game. If you think of it as a wrestling game though, it doesn't hold much weight, but if you think of it as a fighting game, then, for me atleast, it was more enjoyable

The silver lining is a fan made sequel of Kings Quest. The game, unfounrately, doesn't have the creator of the originals worked on the game. The fangroup just gotten her to say a blurb about the game, which can be misleading. The story from what I heard is ho-hum, but if you want to play a new King's game before an official sequel comes out, there's your chance.

 

You can buy King's Quest 1-8 for 30 at gog.com or 1-7 for 19.99 at steam.com

I picked up a 3DS with amazons $25 off a launch game special. I havent opened it yet though...I am not too ready to considering there really isnt anything out for it I want right now. I may keep it sealed and wait for the almost inevitable christmas shortage, then = @firedevil@ PROFIT

The silver lining is a fangame (made by fans for fans) and is not an official game, which is why the story feels like fanfiction with a bunch of references to the previous KQ games. I am sure the official KQ will look a lot better than the Silver Lining.

 

All the previous KQ remakes that came out in the past decade were all fan remakes. The TT KQ game will be the first real KQ game since 1998

All the previous KQ remakes that came out in the past decade were all fan remakes. The TT KQ game will be the first real KQ game since 1998
