The new and final character Hakan in SSF4 is pretty weird...

I think hes pretty awesome and hilarious. He seems like a goofy character thats actually pretty powerful. A welcome addition. MAN I cant wait for SSFIV.

And Draven, RE Umbrella Chronicles is awesome, If you liked it definitely look up Darkside Chronicles. Its really fun and some of my favorite RE games in it along with a new side story.

Hakan is cool. I do not understand why ppl thinks Hakan is too strange for the street fighter mythos yet we have Blanka, a thai child who mutated into a beast; Dhalsim, who can stretch because of practicing yoga and can shoot fireballs bececause of eating curry; and necro, a strange individual. I am not addressing, Dragon, but just in general.

Oh... I used the word weird but it wasnt meant as something negative... It looks like a lot of people like Hakan... I might have to master him just to learn how to defend against him... LOL

I'm playing through Mass Effect right now.

I think this game is WAY overhyped. The story and character interaction are awesome, but the combat is severely lacking. I can never seem to get my squad members to do what I want them to do, and fighting from the vehicle (the Mako, or whatever it's called) is mind-numbingly boring. I often find myself wishing the combat sections would just end so I can get to the next part of the storyline. @lol@

I don't see how this game got such high reviews as it did. I would've given it a 7.5/10 at best, due to the sometimes buggy/boring combat.

With all of you guys talking about fighting games, I haven't seen anyone mention Soul Calibur 4 yet. I bought that when it first came out and played for a few weeks, and then got hooked on WoW again, and stop playing it. I need to get back into it again. Soul Calibur is probably my favorite fighting title. I played the heck out of Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast back in the day.

I was never good at 3D fighting games... SC was fun though... The Dreamcast was awesome... Poor thing never stood a chance.. It was hacked before it was even officially released...

It was hacked a year after it was released in the US. Someone released a developer's boot cd out to the public. IF that cd wasn't released, I do not think the system would fail as fast

I remember getting a boot disk the same time I got the system... But its been a long time so most likely I am wrong... Anyways Ikaruga is the best shooter ever... I didnt know this game existed until a friend told about me about it just recently... I believe a DL version was released but I rather play it on the Dreamcast... Had to boot the old boy back up...

I purchased a DC from a friend back in late 2000 and the system came out in late 1999.

This was shortly before the boot cd came out since I recall no one were aware about the utopia exploit when I got my console

me found out about the bootdisk a few months after looking for porn on a newsgroup. Shortly afterwords, l remember every gaming site talkin about the exploit

Oh no. A lot of people on gaming forums are hating the character because he is weird. My post wasn't directed to you

lol at the porn. Oh newsgroups... I never used them until my friend introduced me to how to pirate DC games. Yeah that Utopia boot disc was rather interesting when it first came out. Also the DC has always held the most interesting and memorable release date to me(the NA release that is) 9-9-99!!! another reason that the DC was so memorable, at least for me.

The dude is definite different but how can anyone NOT want to play as him. He actually looks rather cool and his playstyle just looks rediculously fun. Capcom has definitely had way weirder characters and ones that weren't very fun to play. Everyone Ive talked to or seen all seem to love the idea of Hakan.

I just beat bioshock 2, I found the ending kinda...underwhelming. Maybe now I will beat the last boss of bayonetta.

I love Bayonetta. Out of all those kinds of action games (Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, God of War, etc.) this game is definitely the best one out there.

Honestly, I didnt like Bayonetta that much. The combat engine is cool, but the story makes no sense. Also, I dont really care for "kick a$$" characters, that never get a scratch on them during cutscenes.

Right now I am trying to finish dante's inferno, currently my rage level over 9000, I have never had a game that made me want to fling the controller at the TV like this game...soo full of cheap nonsense and irritating design choices. I fell like those douches on the gamefly commercial, @loll@ I beat demons souls with less frustration than this @grumpy@

I just started back on my god of war 2 save file and finally finished it just in time for GOW3. Yeah it took me 2 years to go back to it to play it. I was at a part that pissed me off so much and was on normal. I wanted to unlock the other skins but decided eff it am i going to play this again? nope, so i *gasp* switched to easy mode and still got alittle pissed at those damn satyrs for being aholes.

Dante's Inferno is done so much like GOW even its frustration level is there. Mind I ask what difficulty level you are playing on Deathblade?

The normal level, I forget what it is called. I have yet to finish gow 2, I believe I about 80% done with it. Still I am debating on going back through the whole game on GOW collection, since I picked that up a couple of weeks ago for $20.

Nice! I didnt know about this until after I ordered the Ultimate edition off of best buys website and Im pretty sure TRU doesnt have the Ultimate edition. I had to get all those goodies. Im looking forward to the metal album, the trilogy soundtracks, the art book, the documentary, and the awesome pandoras box replica. Also the skin is cool as well as the challenge dlc thing.

So Im guessing Dante's Inferno is pretty annoyingly hard on normal? A buddy of mine is going to let me borrow it while hes on vacation next week so I look forward to playing the crap out of it. Im not looking forward to the difficulty but the demo was def fun.

Ha! you are about as far as I was when I started back on GOW2. It was right around the phoenixs' chamber. There was an annoying part that just wouldnt let me pass it. And wouldnt you know it was the satyrs that were preventing me from progressing. I definitely suggest going through the games again. A few buddies of mine have bought that collection recently to get prepared for GOW3. The game literally takes place right AFTER GOW2.

Sorry guys for the triple posting. Im really horrible at doing the multi-reply tool. For some reason it never fully works for me. It just copies one over. Anyways, wow Ive never heard of the Dingoo before but ive heard of some like it. Looks pretty sweet and seems to have a nice selection of emulators. Im guessing that it runs a decent version of MAME if you are playing simpsons arcade. My question to you if you are familiar with it is, does the MAME support CPS-2 games? i.e. marvel vs capcom, x-men vs street fighter, etc. Also how much is it? I didnt see anywhere a price.

It has CPS-1 and CPS-2 emulators out of the box, the all out mame requires a bit more seedy/dicey work to get to work. You have to install a linux program for dual booting and get a micro SD card, with mini SD adapter. ALOT of people brick their Dingoos trying to install the dual boot. Certain CPS-2 games require a completely different emulator. I am PMing you a link that should answer most of your questions.

Dantes inferno is cheap because among other things, you are often expected to jump platforms, while dodging irritating enemies at the same time. It also has wonky camera angles.

man thats unfortunate you have to go through all that trouble to do that. I have my psp modded which has a cps1 and 2 emulator as well as other that all have multiplayer ad-hoc support. It was pretty cool playing marvel vs capcom on my psp while my friend was on his. Whenever it comes to these kind of gadgets that run emulators, its always a huge incentive to me if they run mame/cps2 games. Those are my prized gems. I cant not have them on everything. Especially Marvel Super Heroes..
