G.I.Joe Modern Shipwreck custom

This is my first attempt at customizing Joes. I've done a few ML figures, but nothing beyond a little paint touchup.

 

Shippy here is still in need of a little filler and some minor touchup to areas scratched during reassembly. Then he'll be hit with a light seal of Dullcote. I really liked this idea of Shipwreck sort of as a mercenary and a general asskicker as opposed to just a standard duty sailor(not that there's anything wrong with that, but this IS a fantasy universe). What do you guys think?

 

And as for why the gloves look so messy, ask Hasbro. The gloves(Sgt. Stone) have all kinds of extra flashing and plastic doodles on them. Very disappointed. On the next one, they're staying black.

And, for those that use Dullcote regularly, do I use it on the bare skin arms as well, or leave them the semi-gloss?
