DCUC 11 recalled at Wal Mart?

I just read on another board..

 

Stopped by Durham, NC Wal-Mart today: found almost a full set of DCUC Wave 11 and the Brave & Bold Dr. Fate vs. Wotan set, which I hadn't seen yet. When I went to check out, the cash register beeped and put up a "No Sale" sign and the cashier said, Sorry, we can't sell these, they've been recalled. WHAT? Anyone else had this happen to them? This happened for all the items, DCUC and Brave & Bold.

 

Anyone else have this problem?

Your store was probably halfway through the price change, and they didn't come up.

 

Your cashier probably told you they were recalled, as protocol, or something.

I don't know if you read it right it wasn't Bishop that experienced this

 

Anyways...My Walmart is reseting toys and hasn't gotten much up yet to see if they will have any DCUC at all

The Walmart I was in today is also in the reset process but they had new spots for three pegs of DCUC so that's a plus.

Nah its just WM employe's not knowing that its just not pulling up in the system. The cashiers don't get alert to recalls through the register.... never believe them folks! @loll@

I was able to purchase DCU 11 from Walmart with no issue. Also, several other local collectors were able to with no problems.

It was determined that they had not yet been put into the system.

 

I love how the first response is always "it has been recalled" though.
