R.I.P. George. His devotion to the Yankee's was only matched by his devotion to the fans. He kept the dynasty rolling and with style.

We will all miss you. -_-

Pettitte going down was a big blow to the Yankees and my fantasy team...

Well in real life they can suvive dor a month with out him they still have 4 other starters

During Georges heyday he would of traded for a big name picture to replace andy till he came back

I say you guys go for Roy Oswalt... I hate to see him leave but the Astros really need to rebuild...

Basically with Pettite on the DL and Burnett being a head case, Oswalt, Dan Haren or Ted Lilly look like the best options.

Oswalt is a no go I heard he is on the DL and Lilly might go to the Mets

Oswalt is still scheduled to pitch his next start. He's not on the DL.

I know the Astros suck this season, but I hope they do trade away Oswalt and Myers. I'd want Carlos Lee and Berkman to go, but their chances of leaving aren't likely (no one will want Carlos Lee).

Just to clarify... I was referring to Carlos Lee as the lazy bastard...

WJ - Yeah... I just heard... Hopefully Astros get prospects from Tampa Bay and not the Phillies (It looks like a 3 team trade)...

Lots of baseball news today. A-Rod is going for home run number 600 on his 35th birthday. Yesterday's no-hitter by the Rays was the fifth of the season. Mark Cuban is still trying to but the Rangers. Then there is the dope who injured himself hitting his teammate with a shaving cream pie. That kicker who injured himself a couple years back while celebrating his field goal must think this guy's a dip.
